Just what I needed for my more expensive hats. Perfect, large size, lightweight material (cloth) sturdy handles. Not crush proof !!!

I really like this hat box! I travel a lot with hats for classes & events & as storage has gotten even more cramped & dirty on flights I can’t depend on overhead or under seat areas anymore.It’s sized for cowboy hats or smaller brimmed Panama hats. If the crowns are compatible you could easily stack several inside this.It has a fold out cardboard insert for the bottom to help give it shape & structure, & elastic straps to help keep hats secure & protect from sliding around. Weighs next to nothing.Some improvements I would suggest-*Another cardboard insert for the lid to help prevent the delicate crown of the hat from being crushed, also to add sturdiness for stacking/storage.*Adjustable straps for carrying.*Clear vinyl pocket on exterior for contact info in case of loss or labeling contents for storage.*Waterproof/resistant fabric. I would put my hats inside a plastic bag inside this to be safe but this would be nice in case or rain or spilled drinks.*Larger sizes for larger brimmed hats.I give four stars because I really think that the top should have reinforcement to protect the most damage prone area of a hat, the crown. In the chaos of travel, it’s easy for things to get crammed, jostled, & smooshed. This would go a long way to help prevent damage. I think I’ll probably DIY my own before traveling with this.Finding a quality, collapsible hat box has been a holy grail in our industry for many years now. I will be recommending this in my millinery groups.

This is a great solution for storing nice hats, or traveling with them. I don’t know that I’ll use it for the travel purpose, but it does have a good handle for that. This is a great quality hat organizer. It can hold a couple of cowboy hats comfortably. It is perfect for a closet to keep them organized and dust free or you can use it to protect your hats as you travel.

This can be broken down to be flat for storing but easily put together to keep a hat in. I use it for a pirate hat I made for a Halloween costume/ renaissance faire's. It fits the pirate hat a little snug but that's not a huge deal, it isn't changing the form of it.

I have a 7 3/8 hat size and this hat box was too small. If you have a smaller size, I liked the simplicity of the hat box and would recommend.
