HI-REEKE Toyota Car Building Block Set, Speed Champion FJ40 Off Road for Teen

I own an fj cruiser and I love legos .. so obviously I'm going to try this out .. and I'm going to say I am so very impressed by this build ... and even ... if you just like the vehicle itself it will fit in your speed champion lego size vehicles and a bonus is it come with its own crate slash garage.. for the money and the build and has toyota products emblems all over it ..thus is well worth the price in my opinion. Heck even the doors open and shows engine parts .

My grandson has the real vehicle like this little car and he absolutely loved getting the model! It is very sturdy when put together. Not thinking about it - get it!

This had all the makings of a quality product. BUT the design is flawed.Real Lego master builds will have a lot of forethought when being designed. Where panels, doors, etc. would have a function. This had the intention and makings of a really nice design to match the FJ Cruiser but it fell short in the final product.What does that mean?- Okay, first the base platform has potential and move capable parts for possible suspension, but they decided not to utilize it.- Second, the way the base itself connects to the body of the truck doesn't have enough contact points for connection to make it more secure. So you end up w/ a base that disconnects from the rest of the body easily.- Third, they had a nice engine design that I thought would be capable of being showcased, but ultimately it was covered up with a hood that doesn't even have a hinge system for easy opening. So you have to basically take the front apart to access or look at the engine.- Fourth, the interior is nice w/ doors that swing out for the driver and passenger side, but missed the suicide back doors to access the back seat. Missed opportunity there. Not only that, the back cargo space is completely inaccessible. If the roof was hinged maybe, then it would be okay, but you literally have to break off the roof (which isn't clean) to access these areas.- And finally, this is more an aesthetic thing, the roof could have used one more smooth finish panel to complete instead of the area they decided to finish it with. Hard to explain, but if you get one, you'll see what I mean.

Give this to my husband for Christmas and he love it!

Absolutely nothing I did not like about this build! Must-have for any Toyota fan. No missing pieces, excellent quality and directions and the case was a very nice bonus!! Thank you for an enjoyable build to add to my collection!

Lo compré porque pensé que era lego ,por más intento no pude armarla las instrucciones no están muy claras aparte de que las piezas cuando intentas armar quedan muy flojas

This was smaller then I expected should have double checked measurements. None the less cute. 600+ pieces and small ! I had some extra pieces AND missing pieces. It's put together and can't really see pieces missing

I only gave this 4 stars because the instructions were not in English and there were some parts that would have really been nice to easily read vs. just the photos which we confusing at times.My oldest daughter assembled this for me and only real obstacle were the directions - she has also built the lego Disney castle and Eiffel Tower - quite experienced with more technical builds.Once completed, very cool replica, decent quality for the price.
