nice matcha powder
This is a nice matcha tea that tastes rich/smooth. It definitely tastes like premium/high quality teas that are expensive. When mixed, there is a vibrant green color. The powder is great to use with lattes and mixes well. This match powder is from China instead of Japan so it may taste slightly different from what you're used to but IMO it is still good.

smooth
Good quality matcha, not the best but very good! I mix mine with warm almond milk and vanilla with sweetener. I do not whisk it and opt for my frother instead

Less bitter than the super cheap kind
So I usually get really cheap matcha powder, but I do try to make sure it's from a country with decent and enforced food safety laws. If I'd known this was from China, I wouldn't have ordered it since they have a poor track record with food safety. It does have less of a bitter taste than the kind I usually get, but of course the kind I usually get is a lot cheaper and it isn't ceremonial grade. I've been using this matcha powder to make iced matcha lattes because it's a hot, hot summer right now. I wouldn't order it again, but it's working fine in my lattes and sprinkled on some sweets.

Pretty good matcha
I don’t reflexively dismiss products from China, but when it comes to health products there are certain things that I want to watch out for. The listing for this product does its best to keep the product’s origin out of sight IMO. They tout their USDA organic certification. But from what I’ve read even organic tea from China can contain a high amount of lead. It’s a bit less important when you are brewing tea from leaves because the lead generally doesn’t make its way into the water. But with Matcha you are consuming the leaf.So I reached out to Paremmin about lead content. They got back to me pretty quickly to say that the lead content of their tea is 0.52mg/kg, which seems very low.The product itself looks the part with a nice light green color. I’m not going to pretend to be an expert on matcha quality, but I have attended tea ceremonies and been to tea shops in Shizuoka and this tea definitely has that matcha flavor that I remember. Overall they're offering a good product for much cheaper than the premium Japanese imports.

Great for Lattes
This is a very nice, premium matcha that I’m probably not doing proper justice by mixing into a latte. But it makes for a smooth, rich and delicate taste when mixed with milk.

Though she be but little she is full of matcha goodness
I’ve only had matcha a couple of times so I’m far from an expert. When this became available for me to review I jumped at the chance to try another variation (Chinese vs. Japanese). The container is smaller than I expected but it seems highly concentrated and high grade quality. A serving size is just 1/2 teaspoon which translates to ~30 servings in this little 1.06oz tin.I’m good friends with a matcha afficionado who whipped up a delicious sample mixed with unsweetened vanilla almond milk. This was my first experience and I have to say it was quite smooth and tasty! Definitely on the herbal side - I like my coffee/tea on the lighter side, as more of a flavoring vs. dark and dense, so I will experiment with different ratios, beverages, and temperatures to determine what I like best.As mentioned above I’m new to this product but, based on research and the other reviews, the price-point seems appropriate for the quality and quantity (especially compared to the cost of something prepared by a barista). Like most things I suppose it all comes down to what matters to YOU and where you want to invest your dollars. 😊Thank you for reading my review, I hope it was helpful!

nothing super fancy but good matcha
Idk about quality grades but this stuff doesn't seem super premium. That said, it works well for making a matcha latte.

Good flavor but expensive
This Paremmin Organic Ceremonial Grade Matcha Powder Premium First Harvest has a good flavor profile while noting to be very fresh as it has a vibrant green color when opening. There's a hint of earthiness to this matcha but really mixes and dissolves well when I was making lattes with it. This is on the more expensive end for the amount you receive.
