These hooks look exactly as in the photos - big, quite elegantly curved and robust. They are big and strong enough (if installed right - see the next paragraph) to hold a full-length coat and a bag on the two parts of the hook. Equally, I think you could use these in a workshop for hanging some kinds of tools or equipment.The one drawback for me is in the design. Each hook is attached to the wall with two screws (black screws supplied, with clear plastic wallplugs). As the photo shows, the two screws are very close together - 2 cm from the top of one to the bottom of the other. This means that you need to be very careful and precise in drilling the holes for them, and if your wall is at all crumbly or flakey in places (Victorian plaster!), you may find real difficulty in getting the two screws in securely. A better design would have a flatter back and the two screws further apart.This means that the sturdiness of the hooks really depends on the surface you are attaching them to, and your skill/sharp drill bit for installation. These aren't huge drawbacks, but definitely something to take in to account when considering whether these will meet your needs.

Now these are definitely heavy duty hooks that will be useful for many things besides coats.The metal is strong, and they are a nice shape, where you can hang things from the top and bottom part. The black finish is smooth and looks good.But as another reviewer pointed out, the screw holes are quite close together, and they would resist the shear force better if the holes were spaced more. The hooks will hold pretty much any weight you could add, but the fixings might not..Using high quality wall plugs will go a long way towards ensuring they stay up – I will definitely NOT be using the included ones. If you have plasterboard walls, you will need specialist fixings, and even for brick or concrete, I recommend rawlplug uno or fischer duo.This is a Vine Voice review, but that has not changed my opinion and I only review items I would buy.

I love these simple hooks. We have only been using a few months but they are working great so far. I like that there are no extra parts or mounts that might break off. They were easy for my husband to install. We have used them for our hand towels and our bath towels and they are perfect.

Seems like an odd place for them, but we're hikers, so we hang our hiking backpacks on these, with the usual every-trip stuff still in there.. first aid kit, hiking poles, bug spray, etc. They're not that light... so these are wonderful hooks that still have room on them for a hat and a jacket, even WITh the backpack!

Es handelt sich hier um große, stabile Kleiderhaken für schwerer Kleidung bzw. andere größere Sachen zum Aufhängen.Ich habe sie tatsächlich in meinem Studio-Rollwagen verbaut, um Kabel aufhängen zu können.Durch den eckigen Fuß lassen sie sich gut einmessen und symmetrisch anbringen. Dank der zwei Schrauben ist klar, dass die Haken auch größere Gewichte problemlos halten können.Da die Löcher recht eng beieinander liegen, würde ich aber von einer unmittelbaren Wandmontage abraten und empfehlen, sie vorher auf ein Brett zu schrauben, welches dann mit den vormontierten Haken an die Wand angebracht wird. So ist die symmetrische Montage einfach und, je nach Wand, lässt sich unnötiger Frust vermeiden.Einmal montiert wirken sie dann wirklich unverwüstlich und bieten durch den üppigen Bogen ausreichend Platz für große Kleidungsstücke, Kabel oder anderes ...Von mit gibt's eine klare Kaufempfehlung.
