Officially the Brightest Flashlight I Currently Own
OK, I'm a knucklehead. I did not see the very tight plastic wrap on the battery and could not get my flashlight to work. Once that was removed this light lit up my entire shop. I have some cool tactical flashlights that I thought were bright. Nope. This tiny wonder outshines them all (forgive the pun). Waterproof too, though I have not tested it at depth. This is a great flashlight, whether or not you dive.

Good backup/loaner light
This rechargeable LED dive light is good backup or loaner quality light. It comes with 26650 battery, charger, lanyard, and USB-C cable in a semi-disposable plastic case. The battery has to be charged externally, meaning you have to remove the end cap of the light; this may lead to eventual leaks due to O-ring wear. The light is quite bright and has a relatively narrow beam. I did not run it long above water to prevent overheating the LED head. I've tested it on three dives in fresh water, down to a maximum depth of 96 feet. I experienced no leaks. It will not be replacing my Dive-Rite lights but it's a fine loaner or backup.Good value for the money.

Underwater Dive Light
Small well made dive light. Comes with a carry case and rechargeable battery. Used it twice in the water without any problems.

Quirky but good
This is a good flashlight once you figure it all out. It comes with a USB C charger that fortunately works with all different USB wires and wattages, but it is an external charger that is spring loaded and snaps in an alarming way when the battery is taken out. Speaking of which, the battery must be taken out of the flashlight to charge rather than the flashlight itself having a charging port. This may be because charging port covers wouldn’t hold up properly to high water pressure underwater situations. The other thing about it is at first I thought I got a bad one because I couldn’t get it turn on even with a fully charged battery and after trying several different times. The directions say that the cover has to be fully tightened in order for it to work, and they really do mean fully tightened. I had to tighten it very hard to the point where it had no chance to tighten any more for it to work. Again, this must be for water tightness, but it is definitely well beyond other flashlights. The light itself works well and has a few settings you go through similar to other newer LED flashlights. It’s nice and bright for every day use (ie walking dogs at night, etc). It has a very long lanyard (long enough to wear around your neck not just around the wrist). This may or may not be useful to you, and could possibly get in the way if you don’t wear around your neck.Overall, I would recommend this flashlight if you intend on using it under water in addition to on land, but if you just want an everyday flashlight, you might be better off with one with a charging port right on it and that you don’t have to tighten so tightly to work.

Very bright, works great when camping
The WINDFIRE Dive Lights Scuba Diving Flashlight has far exceeded my expectations, not only for underwater use but also as a versatile tool for camping. Its 5000 lumens of brightness provide an incredibly powerful beam that cuts through darkness, making it perfect for night dives or deep water exploration. However, I’ve found it equally effective for camping trips, where its bright and wide-reaching light helps illuminate large areas of the campsite. The flashlight's durability and IPX8 waterproof rating have proven reliable in both wet and rugged outdoor conditions, showing no signs of wear even after exposure to rain and rough handling. The rechargeable battery is another standout feature, offering long-lasting power that has supported multiple uses—whether underwater or at a campsite—before needing a recharge. The power indicator ensures I’m never caught without power, whether in the wilderness or during a dive. Additionally, the three lighting modes—high, low, and strobe—add to its versatility. While the high mode is ideal for both diving and illuminating dark trails, the low mode is perfect for conserving battery life during extended camping trips. The strobe function also adds a useful safety feature, particularly for signaling in emergency situations. Its ergonomic design fits comfortably in hand, whether I’m using it underwater or during hikes, and the lightweight build makes it easy to carry throughout long trips without adding unnecessary bulk to my gear. Overall, the WINDFIRE Dive Lights Scuba Diving Flashlight is an outstanding product that combines brightness, durability, and versatility, making it not only a must-have for divers but also an excellent choice for campers. I highly recommend this flashlight for those seeking a powerful and reliable light for various outdoor adventures.

It's fine I guess
Meh. I'm very disappointed in the product page for not really showing much about the product. They've even changed the photos from when I first ordered it and they give even less info. I wanted to know how it charged, if it had a focus feature, and some other things but I had to get it to actually find out. What you get is the flashlight, a case, a big battery (not Samsung), a battery charging "cradle", and a lanyard. This is WAAAY too complicated to use as a regular flashlight. This is JUST a diving light. That's it. That's all you want to do with it. You have to remove the big battery from the light, put it into the cradle, and then plug that into the wall to charge it. Then put everything back together when it's done. Bleh.Oh, and it has no focus feature which makes sense with the waterproofing feature.Overall, if you dive, it's probably fine. If not, don't get it.
