Poor Quality Control out of Factory; Poor Customer Service from Crosley.
*IF* you get a pair of chairs that had good quality control out of the factory, I suspect they are solid, comfortable chairs. They have a subtle butt divot - who doesn't love a chair with subtle butt divot?Alas, I did not get that "good quality control" pair of chairs.TL;DR Version: poor quality control out of the factory, misaligned screw holes on leg supports, poor quality screws (manually broke one, and I'm a weakling), legs not the right length.Am waiting to hear back from company's support about either a replacement set or a refund. Will update review with outcome.Long Version:Me: I am experienced with putting furniture together; a large portion of my furniture is from Ikea, and I've put together other company's office furniture as well. And done it well. Dare I say it... I ENJOY building this stuff. It's like Legos kits, but HGTV style. With tools. What went wrong:The holes for the screws in the side support bars were drilled at an incorrect angle; a screw placed through them would screw just into the outside of chair leg, rather than inside of the slot like it's supposed to. It's just a few millimeters off, but that's all it takes to be miserable to put together and look ugly. Each chair has one leg with a screw visible because of it, however chair #2 is in pieces and unusable because... they provide seriously cheap quality screws. I broke the head off one as I was trying to screw it into said ill-angled hole into the chair. By hand. Manual. No electric screwdriver. Broke the screw -*by hand*.I'm not a strong person. In fact, I have fairly noodle-like arms.I took it all apart again and despite all sorts of efforts to remove the broken screw shaft from the chair, no luck. It eventually broke off in the chair too, so 3 pieces of screw.Legs were also, uneven despite tightening after, not before, flipping it over. Same leg on both chairs was maybe 1/8 to 1/4" off.Instructions: average (sadly) to poorThis company did the classic "left/right" designation, which screws people up because it's unclear whether it means the left/right of the chair, or the person's left/right as they are looking at the chair. If you are familiar with putting together furniture then you can just look at it and know how it's supposed to be regardless of the subpar labelling, but for folks that don't do it often, it's an issue. And in looking through all the reviews, I see people that put the front legs on backwards and have slanted supports as a result. (If any of you do read this, I hope you'll give it a try - take the front legs off, swap them, then stick the side support bar's angled tab in the BACK leg, and the straight tab in the front legs, with the screw holes in the support bar on the floor side so you don't see them from above -- which is what the instructions should say to make this crystal clear. Or, you know, provide better pictures.)They could also label the seat's leg positions and the coordinating leg with the same letter/number to match them up directly.Materials:Wood itself is quite nice, solid feeling, rich color (cherry), as pictured, which is pretty impressive.Screws - cheap/poor. Bolts/washers - adequate. Tools provided, adequate, but if you have your own allan wrench, use it. No screw driver provided, so all in all I rate it a BYOT build. My expectation is that Crosley will either send me replacement chairs (hopefully a better set) or I will be refunded my money. Hoping the company does right by me. I'd like them to work out.UPDATE: Well, first response from their support told me if I wanted to get a refund or a replacement to contact the retailer from which I bought it; please note the documentation on the box said to NOT do that, and to reach out to them directly. They also told me it sounded like I had the legs on backwards (I do not) and to reverse them. Never saw pictures of the issue, and told me to exactly what their documentation said to not do, and said I probably screwed up putting them together. As a response I sent them the picture I just added here as well. Screw hole upper right side of pic, the angle at which the screw comes out of said hole into the leg.So basically - questionable quality goods, and customer support that does the bare minimum/is not helpful (oh, and it took several days for them to get back to me).

Excellent quality
I got these stools to go with the Homestyles bar, Americana and they go perfectly with it. They were very easy to assemble with 1 person, and are super sturdy. Good quality materials, no dings or dents. Highly recommend!

I like them
They weren’t difficult to put together but it wasn’t the easiest thing ever. They look really good at my bar and seem to be pretty sturdy.

Beautiful but slightly annoying to put together
They look great and give good back support. Not all pieces lined up flush so we hope they last. We took a chair apart multiple times trying to make it fit tighter.

Beautiful chairs ...but...
I ordered 4 chairs two came good and the other two the side stretcher were crooked.. they were missing two holes on back frame with holds the seat... anyways chair are beautiful... I'm sending back 2... I already order 2 more I have to have 4 for my dinning table.. so I'm hoping they send me those chairs right this time. I would hate sent them back again.

Great chairs at a reasonable price!
I ordered three sets of these chairs to replace the cushioned ones I currently have that my cats have poked or chewed full of holes. I figured I would go cushionless so they wouldn’t have anything to chew or claw. I only have one put together right now, but I’m very happy with the quality. Sturdy, durable wood with a beautiful finish. Putting them together takes some time, but it is not difficult at all. The only tools needed are the supplied Allen wrench and a drill with a Phillips tip. You could use a Phillips screwdriver, but if you have a cordless drill it’s much faster and easier.Edit: Got the second chair out to assemble and there is one small area where the finish was scraped off (see photo), but for the most part they are pretty well packed. Will update again if there are any issues with the other four chairs when I get them assembled.

Great chairs but assembly was off
Love the Chairs and they look great in my kitchen but 2/4 of the chairs I received had issues with the alignment of the lateral support bars and had to improvise. The drilled inserts were not in the right location. Otherwise yhe chairs are great!

Really nice, sturdy chairs!
These are lovely addition to our kitchen. Was helpful to read comments about assembly (left/right indications) and they went together very easily. The screws “just” reach, and after about a month of use, one fell out, so we retightened all screws using a drill (originally had only hand-tightened). Overall very pleased.
