Priceless tool
Needed to remove whole house filter. No other tool would get the job done

I’ve needed one of this for years
I’ve always depended on an assortment of brand and size specific filter wrenches. Now this one fits all of them quicker than the others. Now I can change the CAT filter with the same wrench as the Toyota and Volvo. Great and has more torque.

Broke upon 1st use
Ordered this heavy duty strap for a co worker. The stiching came completely apart and the strap became completely useless aftet attempting to remove and air dryer filter cartridge. Co worker learned the hard way, you get what you pay for. I normally use a snap on heavy duty strap for all air dryer cartridges and oil filters, have never had a problem.

Not for heavy duty applications
I owned this tool for about a year, ended up braking it on a Cummings DD15 fuel filter.

Does the job!
I work on big diesels and sometimes when a rough truck comes in and the filter is put on with an impact this will take it off. Only fallback on the product is the plastic Cummins fuel filters. The pressure can crack it. Then again that's why you need tgis

Well built and may work well for smaller filters.....
Purchased to use on a motorhome air dryer cartridge service. Unfortunately, this device, while being well built, was not up to the task of removing a large filter. Had to return and purchased one of the "steel strap" filter removal tools, which ended up working perfectly!

This strap filter wrench really works great! The belt grips really good. Its tough as well i use it on big hydraulic ,& oil filters on heavy constructionequipment
