No need for parasol weights
Brought these while looking for screw in ground anchors to solve a problem that's been bugging me since last summer when I bought the overhanging parasol pictured. No amount of additional weight made me any more confident that the thing would not fly away at the slightest gust of wind. With these pegs. the issue was solved in minutes. All I had to do was open up the fixing holes in the parasol base a bit wider. No the thing is rock solid and takes seconds to remove instead of lugging around massive weights.

Great design
Holds garden gazebo in place brilliantly and even in very windy conditions. No pull-out from the grass/ground due to their wider diameter screw thread. They flex which means the gazebo or tent is is far less likely to suffer stress tears at attachment points in winds. Very visible - prevents trips especially when combined with high visibility guy rooes sold on this platform.Used for several months now - I highly recommend.

Great ground anchor
Recently used these for the first time to pin our beach tent to the sand. It wasn't a windy day, so screwed into the sand and held the tent secure with no problems, despite our two dogs running in and out of it all day. The little hooks built into the top of the anchor are ideal for locating into the tie-down straps of the beach tent. Given the size and colour of the ground anchors we found them (in the sand) at the end of the day without any problems. We have now also tried using these anchors in grass, they work even better (more secure) as long as the ground isn't too hard,

Good for Soft Ground
These were fine in my installation (anchors for guy ropes for my bird feeder). My ground is soft and relatively stone free and they went in by hand without needing a stick through the top of the peg, although I did get the feeling that if I was clumsy I might be able to snap one off half way in. Whether stony ground would make a major difference, I can't say. The protecting tubes would be useful to protect a rucksack from dirt and moisture after peg removal but I was a little intrigued that the tubes seemed a fraction too big to comfortably fit into the loop on the top of the peg for use as a turning implement. The stakes are very colourful and would be difficult to lose and, with matching orange para cord, the birds don't appear to crash into the assembly during landing. Overall, in my garden at least, I'm very pleased with them (the stakes, not necessarily the birds)...

Great for pegging down tents or small animals!
We bought these primarily for securing our small/toy dog while camping so she could enjoy the freedom of a long line. They really held up being used in a grass field primarily but we're also used on a beach well, however, I guess it depends how sandy the beach is. On grass, they didn't move an inch and we pack one now in the dogs go back for pub trips etc...very handy.

Work well, inserting "handles" can be tricky
I use these to hold down (with rubberized gardening wire) my hedgehog feeder, as the neighbor's terrier loves to raid it for snacks. They hold firmly in the ground and are very sturdy, including the handles. The only issue I have is the clear "handles" seem to fit better inserted one way into the pegs vs. the other way, and they are not marked so it is a second or two of trial and error. Maybe I will be smart enough next time to remember to mark them with permanent marker or nailpolish.

work well
only found one spot where i have had to move a foot away from to get them in and this is in very hard dry ground. No problems with them at all have used them about five times and left in for several days at a time and they dont budge.
