We inherited another Christmas tree for this upcoming holiday season, when my mom decided to clean out her attic. She doesn't like to throw stuff out and we had a brand-new shop space to decorate! It is a beautiful tree, but I didn't want to add Christmas colors to the shop. (the space is mainly blue and black, but I didn't want to do the tree in those colors, or have it clash with reds and greens) So, I found inspiration on the internet and have decided to make a fully clear and icicle tree with a crystal style topper and white embroidered and lightly embellished rhinestone skirt. We will cover the tree with clear lights also. These are perfect for my theme. They are exactly as pictured and arrive packaged loosely in a bag. They look realistic and are lightweight as they are plastic not glass, plastic being another bonus as they won't break if accidentally knocked off or dropped. And you get 30 which goes a long way to covering a tree! I'm really excited to see my finished product.

These are going to look great as accents all over medium to large size Christmas trees or to add as a little embellishment to holiday gifting. They are 5" in length which is suitable best for around 4'-9' trees if you have very large trees you might consider ordering a second larger size for the bottom half of the tree and a smaller for the top half to create a cascading effect, maybe even a middle size for transitioning. These do have bubbles in them, so that could be an issue for some. They all have bubbles, some bigger and some smaller. These are doable flaws though, I don't think it will take away from the beauty much but it might bother people with OCD issues. These are going to last for years to come, they should not break easily unlike fragile glass icicles. They will be fine to let your children help you decorate the tree, as long as they are old enough (4 years old and up) and won't put them in their mouths. To clean, use mild soap, water, and a soft cloth, rinse, and pat dry or lay flat to dry if they look dirty. The cost is 33 cents per icicle which is pretty good. Order extras for a fuller larger tree, or if giving out as gifts. They would make a lovely holiday hostess gift.

I like these icicle ornaments. They are clear and look like ice. I also like that there are a large number of them. Please be aware though that you do have to loop them yourself with the included silver string, which does take some manual labor time.

I am a christmas tree fanatic, so I'm always looking for ornaments to add to my collection and curate my tree themes. I ordered these to add to my "winter woods" theme tree that is mostly white and clear ornaments. For the price ($9.99 at the time of this review), you get a ton of icicles. Yes, they are just clear plastic so not as nice as some of the handcrafted glass icicles I have, but they fit in nicely with my others from a shape & size perspective. My only complaint is that the ties are not attached so that was a bit tedious to add each hanger string.

Pros:These icicles are exactly as shown. They catch the light nicely and add a festive ambiance without being gaudy or attention-grabbing. Also they are NOT glittered (yay, glitter is the worst).Cons:They come with their strings not pre-attached. In their defense, the listing clearly shows that the strings are not pre-attached, so I didn't deduct any stars from their rating for this. But it would be a nice time-savings if the strings were already in place.Final thoughts:Simple, pretty, and cost effective. These are a great addition to your holiday décor without being attention-grabbing.

These are good looking ornaments. The silver string that they came with is a nice touch for calling attention to them on the tree. I think that I would use them with a more traditional green, wire hook to make them look more like icicles that formed on the tree. At $9.99 for 30 of these, the price is very reasonable.

These look really nice on the tree and reflect nice light. They are a good value for adding some chilly sparkle to your tree.
