This is our second time ordering the organic coconut shreds. We use them to make our own coconut milk. Flavor is great, no issues with quality. We will continue using this item

Bag should come with a warning. Once you taste this, hard to put the spoon down! lol!! Slightly crunchy, w. that lovely, rich flavor coconut addicts (such as myself & hubby) expect from dried, unadulterated coconut!! Great in baked goods or sprinkled over hot cereals, salads, etc. Very Happy w. purchase and would definitely buy this brand again!

Not what I pictured when I saw shredded. I pictured shreds with the length of shredded cheese.Not the case!!!My fault for not properly understanding the images.These are very small “shreds” maybe two thirds the length of rice grains with many tiny crumbs/shavings. This made for a very very very messy application to a coconut/vanilla frosted pineapple/coconut cake. LolThey taste delicious, just like coconut. Some people here may get it mixed up with coconut with sugar. This has no added sugar. Tastes just like coconut. It is fresh and there is A LOT for your money. I used maybe 1/4 or less of this bag to cover an entire 9 inch two level cake.Took a star away because these were not the size I pictured for shreds. Too messy to add on a cake. If you wanted to roll something in it, it’d be fine.

This stuff is delicious right out of the bag and that's how I eat it as a snack or even as a dessert right after a meal. I just take a teaspoon and get a spoonful out of the bag and put it in my mouth and then another one after I finish the first one. It has a sweetness to it but virtually no sugar in it or added to it and very few carbs. And though it says it's shredded, it's more like it's granulated but it is really, really good tasting.Being on a diet is hard when you crave sweets or desserts and this really helps a lot because it not only satisfies your sweet tooth, it's also very healthy for you. Coconut is one of the healthiest things you can eat and the fat content of the coconut is the healthiest part. I am very happy that I found this product which is now my go-to for a delicious snack or dessert.
