Philips SHP1800/00 Indoor Corded TV Headphones - Black

I have ordered these in the past, in fact I think this is our 3rd order. The existing ones are still working 100% after 2 years and I have just noticed that they are being discontinued by Philips ( silly really as they do give excellent quality sound) My husband is as deaf as a door post and we live in an apartment, we would have to have the volume turned up on the TV to 100%, which I find is an assault on my eardrums and also possibly that of our neighbours. We use constantly so £13 for peace and quiet is not a high price to pay, they are comfy too, tried cordless ones, which cost 3 maybe four times as much and end up with a head ache from the sheer heaviness of them. So all I can say is "Well batted Philips", just sad they are being dis-continued. Long lead too and volume control on the lead, what more could one ask for!

Really brilliant so well worth the price and received so quickly.. Fits well and very comfortable and so much cable. As I had broke both hearing aids needed these headphones but better than expected for price.

Hard of hearing so wanted a volume control to be able to increase the volume via the headphone control.With these you can only use the control to turn down the volume and so for that reason I've rated the sound quality at 2.I set the TV volume and tested them with an old set of headphones and the volume and sound quality didn't appear to differ, but also could be due to my hearing loss. The old phones were slightly louder and they don't have a volume control.I have to add that for anyone with good hearing these may be just what they need but although they were light and comfortable I'm afraid it was a wasted purchase.

I bought these as I wanted to be able to lie on my bed and watch tv or listen to music. The length of the cord is good and the headphones are light and comfortable. The downside is that you can still here everything going on as well as what you are listening to on the headphones - they don't block out hardly any external noise . Ok for the money and light weight and comfortable

Love these sound quality is awesome very clear, and just the right amount of bass. They are very comfortable to wear for hours! We live in a flat, with paper walls ha ha. So used to hear our neighbours TV, and they heard our's.... Not anymore! We can still hear our front door, but not our neighbours tv.. Only what we're watching, plus it makes our flat very quiet late at night, whilst watching a late film... So our neighbours can sleep, whilst we burn the midnight oil... In silence.. Enjoying our movie at full volume... Whilst the flat is as quiet as nuclear sub ha ha.

This is a terrible product. The headphones pinch because the frame is too small. The speakers are made of cheap foam which irritates the ears and the sound quality is very tinny. I suppose you get what you pay for but these are not worth the price plus P+P. Pay a little more and get the other Philips headphones which I've had before and are much better.

These are great if you want to watch tv without bothering others...sound is great and you cant hear anything other than the tv or laptop if you use them on your lappy ... in fact I now have a great excuse if the boss says to me "didnt you hear me"...i can say "no i had the headphones on" even if there not on me head. Sweet.Great product...does the job...nothing fancy or technical but good enough.

Zum Glück gibt es ihn noch, den Philips SHP1800. Ich hatte ihn bereits seit vielen Jahren, als Zusatzkopfhöhrer für den Fernseher. Er ist kein Hifi-Kopfhöhrer, aber er bringt sauberen exakten Klang und Töne ans Ohr, ist sehr leicht und sitzt angenehm am Kopf. Er betont etwas die Höhen, hat ein 6 m langes Kabel und vor allem eine eigene Lautstärkeregelung am Kabel, ist also ideal für individuelle Lautstärkeeinstellung unabhängig vom Fernsehlautsprecher. Da diese Fernsehlautsprecher aus mir unverständlcihen Gründen (Design?) bei den modernen Geräten an der Rückseite des Bildschirms angebracht sind, verstehe ich als leicht Schwerhöriger mit Hörschwäche gerade bei den Höhen viele Dialoge nicht mehr. Genau da ist dieser Philips Kopfhöhrer genau richtig, ich kann damit problemlos wieder alles verstehen, auch leise Dialoge oder die beeindruckenden Fangesänge in Stereo im voll besetzten Fussballstadion oder die Beiträge in großen Geräuschkulissen in Diskussionen von z.B. Politikerrunden. Beim alten Kopfhörer ist jetzt nach vielen Jahre und häufigem Kabel-Ziehen und -Quetschen unter diversen Möbelfüssen und -Rollen der linke Kanal ausgefallen. Zum Glück hab ich das gleiche Modell bei amazon wiedergefunden, es gibt ihn noch, für einen sehr günstigen Preis. 2 Tage nach der Bestellung geliefert kann er wieder für viele Jahre den täglichen Fernsehgenuß unterstützen, und das zu einem Preis von nur 11.99 €. Hervorragend !

No es la primera vez que compro estos auriculares y tampoco será la última a no ser que dejen de fabricarlos (que espero que no ocurra). Desde que los descubrí no pruebo otros.Los uso para la tele, para escuchar música, para tocar instrumentos electrónicos con salida de auriculares... En fin, los uso para todo. Me resultan muy confortables y cómodos, son muy ligeros y puedo usarlos durante horas.También me resultan muy prácticos por la longitud del cable y la posibilidad de regular el volumen fácilmente con la rueda de ajuste que tiene y que está muy bien colocada en el cable para que siempre la encuentres fácilmente con un gesto sencillo cuando necesites regular el volumen.Personalmente me gusta mucho la calidad de sonido que ofrecen, de hecho prefiero escuchar las películas con estos auriculares antes que con los altavoces de la propia televisión.Mi experiencia personal es muy positiva con estos auriculares, pero como todo supongo que es cuestión de gustos. Simplemente estos auriculares se ajustan totalmente a mis preferencias de comodidad y sonido.

5 stelle alle cuffie perchè sono esattamente quanto cercavo: cuffie per la TV da utilizzarsi a letto con: - ridotto ingombro sulle orecchie in modo da potersi appoggiare bene al cuscino - cavo molto lungo (6 metri) che non rimane teso e quindi non costituisce problemi di inciampo - buonissima qualità del suono - prezzo economico soprattutto in considerazione della qualità del prodottoCon questo prodotto ho sperimentato la consegna ai Locker e l'ho trovata veramente comodissima.
