Super cute watch for kids!
Got this for my nephew who loves dinosaurs. The watch face is easy to read and aides children in learning to read time via dial and hands. The numbers are actual numbers not roman. The hour hand has a Dino head on it and both minute and hour hand have the words written on them for identification. The colors are very cute. The size of the watch is just right for a 6 year old. The band is stretchy enough for comfort but wont go loose. It can stand some wear and tear ( needed for kids). It is easy to put on and take off. The kids can do it themselves. There is no tongue (stick that goes through the whole) like on adult watches. Over all, a loved gift!

cute
this watch comes in a variety of kid friendly, cute designs. it fits my 6-year-old's wrist very well. It slips on like a bracelet, which is convenient. The analog watch face is a great learning tool, and the hands with the "hour" and "minute" labeled are handy for kids starting to tell time.

Good watch for a small child
This is a reasonable watch for a young child. This was a 5th birthday present for my son. I picked this watch because it has an analog face, a good price, an easy to use velcro wrist band, and there were no super heros/animation figures on it. Since my son seems to have a new "love" every couple of weeks (currently star wars), I wanted a watch that wasn't going to be (wait for it......) "dated" in 2 months! My son loves the watch. This has a light up face and is very easy to read the time. There is a second hand on this. The band is a little long for my son's wrist (but he is a small kid) but the size of the watch face is perfect for his wrist size. He can easily put this on himself and it looks pretty good. Hopefully this will (another one is coming....) stand the "test of time". So far, it has stood up to at least one week of a very active 5 year old without any problems (and if there are- I will update this review!)

My kid's second watch! He loves it!
My kid got so many compliments from his classmates & friends on his watch. The hands say which one is hour/minute, so it helps him a lot to read a time. Highly recommended!

Avoid the expensive fragile toy store watches and get your kid a Timex!
I am truly impressed by the construction and value you get in this great looking Timex Kid's Watch. I was shopping for my 6 year old son, knowing he desperately wanted a watch so he could be a big man just like his father. He is always trying to find out the time, so it was a perfect present for him.A brief perusal in the local toy store was disappointing. Many Disney and other branded watches that cost over $20 each and look uncomfortable and poorly built. Browse some Amazon reviews and you'll see that many watches featuring characters break in the first few weeks, leading to sad children and frustrated parents. Plus, the wristbands never look comfortable for a small wrist. If it doesn't get worn, I can guarantee it will be lost or broken soon. The instant I handled this Timex Kid's Watch, I knew it was different. The wristband is a soft but strong fabric strap with an easy velcro-closure. My son needed no help putting the watch on himself. The front of it looks sharp and mature, and the numbers on it are clear and distinct. The watch was easy to set and my son wore it all day on his wrist, shouting out the time every 20 minutes. Some kids watches try to be too cute, covering up some numbers with a cartoon, or making the hands hard to read. The hands are easy to see (including the second hand) and the hour numerals are large and well printed. One complaint is that the printed minutes, while a nice feature, are just a bit too small to see. That could be a good thing, as it prevents dependence on a crutch for telling time.Topping it off, it's a Timex watch so it has Indiglo! Just push in the stem and the watch face glows green. It is also water resistant to 30M... I likely wouldn't take it swimming, but I'm not afraid of my kid getting it a little wet and ruining it. And if he breaks it or loses it, Timex guarantees to replace for a $10 charge.Especially for this price, you really can't go wrong on this Timex watch for a kid's first watch.

Durable childrens watch that stays on
We’ve gone through several watches with my 9-year-old son. The chief problem has been he messes with the watch band to the point where it breaks. Or he gets fidgety and takes the watch on and off, inevitably losing the watch. This watch has been a game changer. The velcro wristband means there is no loose end of the band for him to play with. And rather than absentmindedly messing with the band, or taking the watch on and off, he focuses his fidgety energy elsewhere, and the watch stays on.Keeping the band on has been critical to him building the habit of wearing and using the watch. We also love that it is not digital and forces him to actually tell time. (WARNING: all the kids in his class have digital watches, many with games on them, so this watch will not add to your child’s “cool” factor, haha.) This is the longest our kid has had and kept a watch. Additionally, he’s a rough and tumble 9 year old, and this watch (including the durable casing that covers the face) has survived all manner of play and roughhousing with zero cracks in the glass. I highly recommend this watch if you’re looking for something that will last!

Okay
You are getting what you pay for with this watch. It is very cheap looking and does not work the greatest. It looks more like a toy. But, if you want your kid to have a watch that you don't mind if it is ruined... this would be a perfect watch for you!

Great to learn time
This watch is adorable. The seconds hand is a unicorn. My daughter absolutely loves it and is learning to read time. It’s easy to adjust and easy for her to put on.

Perfect starter watch
My son is 6 and wanted to learn to tell time. He got this for Christmas and every few minutes he would yell out the time. Having the minutes along the side is super helper for him. It’s a blessing and a curse because it has been so easy for him to learn - so be ready!
