Arrow Shed Indoor/Outdoor Shed, Attic, and Workbench Organization Shelf Frame Kit

This was easy to put together and install but it really could use more than 2 cross braces to increase the sturdiness. Supposedly holds 250 pounds but I doubt that. Could add support bracing to the center shed beams if you need more support. Working well for my needs overall I’m just keeping light stuff on it.

Prior to any purchase here on Amazon, reviews will usually make my decision to buy or not. Is this sturdy?.... FAIRLY... Why? The crossbars look and feel flimsy. But once it's all put together it's fairly sturdy. The cure for that? Reinforce with 2x4's. Is it easy to put together?... YES, only time consuming like building your shed, only without so many tiny screws and nuts. Would I recommend this?... ABSOLUTELY! To utilize the upper space of your shed it's a must have. If you've just purchased your Arrow shed, built it and loaded it with all your non essential items, stand back and look at all that available space up top..... Now, imagine with this item installed in there and you'll see what I mean. The height is adjustable to your needs. Load capacity is 250lbs (evenly distributed). Use some common sense and don't overload it. The structure of your shed isn't sturdy itself. It isn't a Tuff Shed. I've used it to store foldable items, picnic/beach chairs, tents, sleeping bags, etc... you get the idea. Some write bad reviews is beyond me. Doesn't make sense why they've purchased the Arrow Shed to begin with. The shed alone isn't all that great. You pay for what you get. So long as my non essential items are kept protected from rain and sun, especially gaining so much room in my garage, I'll buy that for a dollar. Don't expect a lot with this add on. But do expect it to give you more storage space for you to be able to at least walk into your shed without moving some many items out of the way just to get to whatever you've stuffed in the back of the shed because you needed it one day.

As with most of the Arrow Shed building system, the instructions are vague and the parts never go together quite right. This kit is no exception to those rules. However, after building the Shed, putting this together was an absolute breeze.Installation took about an hour for the metal sub-structure and another hour for the top and back panel (I put up a pegboard for my tools as I used this kit as a small workbench). Make sure you have your drill handy to make new holes in the steel for when the metal support structure invariably needs a tweak or two.Remember this kit contains no wood or material for the shelf portion.A freestanding bench would be the best for inside the Shed, but if you don't want the hassle of building one, then this kit is the next best thing. Additionally, this bench stiffens the structure significantly and once you add the wood (I used 1/2 inch plywood) the solvency is very solid and could easily hold several hundred pounds.If you own an Arrow Shed, this is a must-have, if for no other reason than to give these absurdly thin-walled sheds some internal structural support.

Holds m gear well

This attic gives me so much more floor room and hanging capacity of just the basic gardening tools. I would recommend this product. Only problem is you will absolutely need 2 people to install this as the installation level is "not easy" to say the least. But once its installed, very nice to have.

Had a bit of difficulty getting the holes to line up. If you are going to get this, install it with the shed, not after the fact. I had already sealed some of the holes, and had to reseal them since completing the shed two weeks ahead of schedule. Shelf has been a great help in getting items off the floor. Don't quite have a floor for the shelf, lucky me, all my items are long enough to fit across both beams. Just be prepared to know you need two people to install this to the walls, unless you are doing it while you are putting up the walls.

Aside from being partially damaged during shipping. The kit was pretty simple to install. I would recommend a second set of hands to install the long assemblies. Pay attention to installation pictures and directions assemblies face (learned this the hard way).

I have had two sheds now, the first one lasted 15 years. The second one if it lasts that long will be another wicked bargain. The directions are a bit vague at times but if you read thru and apply a little common sense it is all good. As far as folks complaining about the holes not lining up I dunnow, mine were just fine for the entire shed. There is a little tweaking to do (shifting panels a bit) for perfect alignment but nothing crazy. The workbench kit I used for loft storage, chair cushions etc.. I give Arrow sheds high marks for quality and for durability. Very pleased with my experiences with them!!! Mike
