We pre-soak it before cutting for hotpot and it's perfect. Review: Good - First time ordering it but will definitely reorder. Really good and package has instructions at the back on how to use. Needs careful handling coz it easily breaks apart. But once you get the hang of it, you’ll be a pro making use of it.

Brittle and chewy at the same time.
Don’t know if I got an old batch but it was awful. Go to an Asian grocery store instead.

I am still a novice using this product,
so my review may not be that important. I have used the dried yuba only recently after having purchased it a year ago! Didn't know what I should do with it despite internet searches. Most online recipes used an undried form. I received the product with minimal tiny broken pieces, which don't matter, because I soak the sheets in hot water for several minutes, then roll them up, slice like noodles and cut them in half for smaller pieces. Steam them with vegetables and serve with rice or regular noodles and a sauce or dressing. Not much flavor (like regular block tofu) but a quick easy source of protein that can be stored for months in my cupboard. Highly recommend keeping some on hand. As for value for money, I have no idea. These are the first and only packages I have bought.

I use for Vegan Chitterlings!
These are so good. I'm not sure why the price is dropping. I bought them at $32, then $26 and now $20. I use the to make Vegan Chitterling/Chittlins or Vitterlings Vittlins. You get a lot! 3 huge packages. When you open them they seem like a weird texture, but After soaking they look better. The picture doesn't do them justice after cooking. I get the kitchen scissors and cut them in strips or break them into pieces. I learned the second time I made them that there's a layer you can peel which makes them thinner. Which makes them taste better. So it makes them seem like the real ones when you're pulling that layer of skin off of the chitterlings just no smell and doesn't take nearly as long. I just season them the same way I use to make regular Chittlins. I cook them for maybe 45 min to an hr. Eat on them all day. Delicious! Now I have to make more because my mother in law and her husband tasted them and want me to make and order them some. So does my mother. They taste so close to the real thing just healthier. I wish I knew other things to do with the sheets. Theres so many of them. If you like chitterlings try these.

damage in transport
My son loves this product and recommended that I try it. However the package received has no unbroken sheets. One package is just crumbles. I'd recommend trying to find the product in an Asian store instead.

Arrived intact
I liked this product. Normally I use a more delicate Japanese bean curd sheets, but they are smaller and expensive. Unlike some reviews, they came as whole sheets and I was able to use as wrappers as well as in dishes that required cut pieces. The taste was as expected and I'm looking forward to using it in deep-fried and other exotic dishes.
