Frustrated and disappointed
Mixer leaves lots of unmixed flour etc at the bottom on the bowl. Accessories are not all included (including a creaming beater for making cakes which you have to buy separately for £30-40) and are ridiculously expensive. Mixer is too quick to knead dough properly. No response from customer services to the email that I sent them 3 weeks ago.

Wobbly one!!!
I purchased my machine earlier this year...couldn't wait to get started....cake mixing great....but when making a 1lb mix for scones mixer jumped all over worktop...so much so that I had to hold it in place...sent back to Kenwood for a report which has just come back with no fault found....but "machine will wobble under load" a 1lb scone mix is not a heavy load...come on please!!! Am using mum's old kenwood....solid as a rock...my daughter has the titanium version....guess what ..solid as a rock...so far no joy for an exchange to a slightly heavier model...but not a happy bunny at this moment in time!!! Consider going for the premier or above range...I will when this problem is resolved!!!

Great Mixer
Haven't had mine long but so far very impressed with it. I noticed the only other review mentions leaving unmixed flour etc. The main attachment (the K beater) is adjustable, and this is clearly mentioned in the manual, with a spanner provided for adjustment, so I don't think it's a good reason to ignore this mixer. It comes with three attachments (whisk and dough hook in addition to above), plus a blender, so it's actually quite a good package. The creaming beater is optional but so are LOTS of other attachments, and although they can be pricey I'd say it's unrealistic to expect every attachment to be included. As a rule most of these mixers seem to be almost identical except for power and number of included attachments. This one seems a good place to start, especially as it is reduced in price. There's plenty of power, the three attachments provided will do almost any job between them, the speed setting is variable right through the range and includes a pulse option. The splashguard is a welcome addition, especially with icing sugar.Personally, I can't fault it and would recommend the mixer to anyone except gourmet chefs looking for more exotic uses beyond mixing.
