Bought so when I take the dirty one out and clean it I will always have a dry and clean on to put back in.

I bought this model robot cleaner and am extremely happy with the quality of the main robot unit itself. I run this at least 10+ times every season (Pool is only open June to Sept here up North). I have been stunned at what I have retrieved from the catch bag after some of my robot cycles. This thing catches everything in size from cleaning off the green algea from the bottom up to handfuls of full size oak leaves and plenty of pine tree stem sticks up to 6 inches in length! So a pretty powerful robot motor, and this catch bag has never come off while the unit is running. This review is about the catch bag. UGG! I concur with the others 100% - the plastic frame sewn into the perimeter of the bag is WAY too cheap and breaks VERY easily. I've had the robot for 4 years now, and I've purchased 4 bags since the original one broke! One of them that I bought broke the FIRST time I used it!! I mean after it runs it's cycle and is soaking wet with 5 pounds of debris, you have to be extremely careful when removing the bag not to break the frame. And at this high retail price! It looks and feels like in mass production it should only cost the manufacturer maybe $2 or $3 bucks. If they made one with an aluminum frame (or something that has some give because you do have to pull it a little to attach it and press it in behind the holding tabs) I would easily pay $50, only because I've had to buy 4 of these so far, and there’s no choice to buy a different bag of better quality. I saw one review indicating holes appearing after 6 weeks. I myself have never seen a single hole in any of the 5 I have used (original + I’m now on my 4th purchased one). I have a salt water pool, and I am wondering if maybe with a high chlorine content that might be a factor, or especially if it was sun-dried after use? I just haven't had holes - and I probably SHOULD - because I think I push the robot to the limit when it is full of dirt, pebbles, sticks, and several handfuls of leaves - which I get at least on 2 runs each year when I open my pool and after heavy wind storms. My pool is directly under a long line of 100 year old pine trees that are probably 100 feet tall, and my pool takes a BEATING after storms from being under the trees - I've got holes in my solar cover, but never on this catch bag. I gave this product 2 stars instead of 1 because it does an awesome job if it wasn't for the super cheap plastic frame. I've tried carefully opening the seam, and super gluing a couple of these that broke, but as fast as they broke the first time, they break someplace else after a couple more uses after I spent a lot of time gluing the first break. I am thinking of gluing plastic rods right to the bag on the outside, alongside of the internal frame, to double the stability. I'd have to leave gaps where it clicks into place behind the robot chassis tabs. If I do so I will update this next season (it's Sept 2019 I'm closing).

This replacement filter bag fits my Smartpool NC22 pool vacuum perfectly. I've only used it a couple times, but so far it seems to have performed very satisfactorily.

It's exactly the same as the original. We've had no problem with it .

I liked that it fit perfectly, and it works, however I just put it in and I couldn’t help feel that this was ‘flimsier’ than the original. Hopefully it all continues to work well with no breakage.

Feels, looks and fits just like the original. I'm going to be more careful handling this one though, because, like the original, the plastic frame inside the bag feels very weak.
