These lamps appear deceptively small in the picture. But then again, I could have sought out the dimensions shown. If you have a small room, get one. Two of these in the same room or even the same wall could be overpowering if scale is important to you. The rule of thumb that a lamp is generally regarded as an accessory and brought in after other furnishings are complete is largely true. In this case, however, I would strongly encourage purchasing the lamp first and then adjusting the remainder of the room to meet the scale of the lamp. I was surprised at the first one I ordered, but came back for a second. Even though the "concrete" look base is a high-grade artificial material, it nonetheless has a definite organic quality without the weight of a concrete block. It appears as though you could also do a custom re-coloring of the base. I happen to like the gray with my Eames and Barcelona chairs. The shades in this photo also look to be more white. Mine are actually quite white during the day, but when the lamp is turned on, the shade mellows out into a soft off-white and casts a very unique pattern on the wall. It is a bold shape and a decided departure from many traditional lamps without being gimmicky or over-designed.

i'm going to start with the only positive thing about these lamps, for the look i was going for they would have worked great. Now the quality is severely lacking, my first order arrived with the base broken and the box crushed so I thought it was just a shipping issue, when my replacements came it was the same exact problem but the box was perfect. the lamp base material is so paper thin that any bump will break them. If i could give 0 stars I would.

I bought these for my bedroom and they are perfect! They are very classy and weren't bad for the price! I have hooked them up with the smart bulbs and connected it to my alexa! Gives my room a whole different feel. Super quick and easy to put together!

For $40 per lamp I was expecting porcelain or real hard clay. Lamps are made of some type of very hard yet durable styrofoam-like material. They have scrapes/chips that are messyly painted white. From a distance they have a very elegant and sophisticated look.I get compliments on them and have grown to admire them from a distance.

Buy them! They are absolutely gorgeous! Great quality and very nice.

I ended up returning these because the shades do not allow enough light to penetrate. The faux concrete is really nice, but these lamps really need to be larger to showcase the effect. Nice concept, but needs to be larger. Also, the lamp shades need to be more translucent.

I will never buy anything made by Ashley after receiving this garbage. I read the other reviews and figured I could make these work as I really wanted the concrete "look". The look is more melted plastic bubbles which I could actually live with... The main issue is the socket does not attach to the top of the lamp securely. Makes the whole thing wobbly and just utterly useless. Side note the packaging was the weakest white foam that breaks apart and leaves little pieces everywhere...

Beautiful Lamps. Well worth the price!!!
