Won't hold up against a strong wind
It's a good looking flagpole and fairly easy to install. I bought mine in late 2019 and installed it. This pole isn't nearly as heavy duty as implied. Last year in 40-50 mph wind gusts, it was bent over at the base. I will say that the company did cover the bottom section under warranty but they didn't cover the ground sleeve and I had to pay for shipping. Not to mention, I had to dig a new hole and concrete it in again. Here we are right at a year later and my pole was blown over yet again by 40-50 mph wind gusts so I'm buying another section and trying to figure how to brace it against wind gusts. Do yourself a favor and spend more money on an ACTUAL heavy duty pole because this one isn't it. I'm not saying it's a rip off but if you have any kind of serious wind, it'll be lying on the ground.

Poor joints caused this pole to snap in two after 4 months
This flag pole is replacing a flag pole I bought online from a local home improvement store. It wasn't made in the USA as I prefer. I got 2 years out of it so not alot to complain about. 45mph wind and I found it snapped in 2 a few feet up. This time I went made in usa. Just received yesterday ..easy install for me as it dropped in the old sleeve still in the ground. If your new that part is straight forward just use extra concrete to be safe. Simple as dig holes ..center the sleeve and fill with concrete. As much as I wanted to give this pole 5 stars I couldn't. The poles were no thicker then my last one. I paid almost double the price so I expect a bit better in the quality dept. Manufacturer needs to step up on quality of the pole. Be sure to lower the flag in heavy wind.Update : loose joints took it's toll and the flag pole snapped in two ..cheaply made pass on this one

These last...just add more line in the package!
I bought the new one to replace the dusty, weather-beaten, albeit still functional old one that I put in 22 years ago. And I got that one used from an old VFW post that gave it away when they were upgrading. So who knows how old it actually is. The new post sections fit easily in the older lower post, fixed in the concrete I put there long ago. If time is a testament, then these things are great. Clearly QA is excellent as the tubes fit snugly together 22 years apart in lot builds. I can actually use some of the older pieces to get a longer pole (if I want).Only one nit...it was shipped as a 21 foot pole, with a single 40 foot line. When assembled (only the new pieces) the rope is too short. Kinda obvious you would need about 2 more feet given the cleat is on the lower end of the lowest piece. In any event, it doesn't work and I am buying a new >50 foot length of rope.

very nice but massive needing a big hole and lots of gravel and concrete...
(This review is for Ezpole Flag Poles, Classic Flag Pole Kit, Aluminum Dual Flag Pole 21-Feet. The kind where you lifte the flag on a string. For some reason Amazon has reviews for different models all mixed up here)Looks very nice and solid in the box, but after reading the instructions I had to return it, the amount of concrete to hold this is massive (80lb+ if I recall correctly plus gravel underneath) and I can't make such a big and deep hole where I want to put it.I'm still giving it 5 starts, from the looks of the pieces in the box this is a high quality pole, I just wish they would have mentioned the amount of concrete necessary (plus gravel underneath) in the description, I would have never ordered it. The pole is about the size of a camelback waterbottle in diameter, much more massive than I expected. The flag also looks like very nice quality. If you have a place where you can install it with the required amount of concrete this should be a very nice pole, I'll have to look for something else myself.

4th of July Requirement by me much better half
I've been wanting one of these for way too long. I spent a very long time browsing the net for a good MADE IN USA flagpole and came across this one.I started at the EZPOLE web site but found this one from the same folks at a lower price AND with a light (required by my wife who, BTW, is a citizen by choice).I was a bit apprehensive as I've never put up one of these before. Got my 13 yo son to help dig the hole and put it up. Took two 50 pound bags of quikrete with a half bag of small stones at the bottom. It was a good excuse to get myself a new level and impact driver as well. It took longer to wait for the quikrete to set up than to put up the pole. The ONLY down side is the flag clips are a bit difficult to get the flag grommets through.All-in-all I'm VERY happy with this.

Excellent product!
This is such a great addition to my front yard. By far the hardest part is the concrete (if you’re not an expert) but the rest is a breeze. It’s as simple as sliding the poles into each other. 21 feet is also a lot taller than I pictured in my head. This thing is by far the most substantial looking flagpole in my neighborhood. Not a concrete expert but I would suggest not using quickcrete or fast drying cement. I purchased a cement mixer that attached like a drill bit to my drill and mixed the concrete in a bucket in small amounts. Made it a lot easier than just dumping a whole bucket full of concrete in the hole. Also saw that someone wrapped the bottom of the pole in painters tape to keep cement from getting on it. Definitely kept things cleaner and no cement smears on the pole.Just took the entire flagpole down for a hurricane and took me all of about 2 minutes. My gut is that it would have been fine as long as the flags were off but it’s so easy to take apart I just took apart the top three poles. I’ve seen the flags in 30+ mph winds and just takes it like a champ. This pole is a solid 5 stars.

Make sure the pole is level!!
Nice flag pole but it would look even better if it was bigger in diameter.

Very nice American made product.
This is a nice American made flag pole kit. It comes with everything you need to install except for the cement and includes the flag to boot. It now fly's in our front yard with 2 flags, the American one and a New Hampshire flag below. We also have the "Don't tread on me" one to fly on special occasions. After reading the reviews on many flag kits we decided to go with this on based on the many positive reviews and the fact it is 100% made in the USA. Not enough wind to show it properly.
