EXCELLENT
I really recommend this book to everyone who prays the Rosary. I recommended it to our church pastor also.Praying the Rosary is an excellent devotional practice for both Catholic & Protestant believers.

Inspiring
A great little resource to inspire and enhance the rosary prayers. Fr. Josemaria Escriva had a passion for Christ and for prayer that was infectious to all that encountered him. These mini-devotions on the rosary mysteries could stir the same passion in you. The woodcut drawings are nice additions to each devotional reading and the devotions are long enough to provoke thought while remaining short enough to be accessible.

Enlightening
This short work is wonderful for use during the Holy Rosary. The Mysteries are more richly presented in a way that causes the reader to truly become part of them during prayer. I highly recommend this work by St. Josemaria Escriva.

good little book
Simple booklet shows the Rosary is not as difficult as you might imagine and that meditation is also easier than you might have thought.

A beautiful book of meditations - would that we might imitate what they contain!
There are a lot of books about the Holy Rosary, this is one of my favourites written by the saintly founder of Opus Dei St. Josemaria Escriva. If you are anything like me and find it difficult to meditate on the mysteries of the Rosary you might find this book to be just the thing for you. In it you are invited by Saint Josemaria who writes directly to you to imagine yourself in each of the scenes presented for contemplation; for example meditating on the Annunciation might imagine yourself in the house of the Virgin Mary as the Archangel Gabriel appears to her causing her to wonder to "herself what manner of salutation this should be" (Luke 1:29). As the Virgin asks "Quomodo fiet istud, quoniam virum non cognosco? - But how can this come about, since I am a Virgin?" (Luke 1:34) we are reminded by contrast to her impurity or our own impurities for which we beg mercy and look to the Immaculate Virgin as an example to follow.Similarly, in contemplating The Agony in the Garden, we are drawn to the suffering of Our Lord Jesus Christ and his tribulation through which " his sweat became as drops of blood, trickling down upon the ground." (Luke 22:44), and we are exhorted with urgency to pray, to stay awake and to be vigilant, and not be like the disciples who fall asleep. Notice how Scriptural these meditations are! Much is said today about bringing the Scriptures alive, but St. Josemaria in this small book of rosary meditations which he wrote in one sitting in 1931 during his thanksgiving after Mass. The seller sent this with a few little inserts related to the life and canonisation of the authorThis really is a book that ought to be more widely known and used, it is perfect for students, for adults, for the frail (it is small and easy to hold) and for anyone who wants to get more from one of the most magnificent prayers.
