I like that this is not prescription, she seems to tolerate it very well with no undesired side-effects. This is our 2nd bottle, maybe too early to tell but seems to be improving quality of life for her.

I have purchased this product several times, as prescribed by my holistic vet, to maintain joint health in my dog's vertebrae. Normal joint formulas (e.g. glucosamine) work on ball/socket joints, but not the types of joints between the vertebrae. After my dog had a major chiropractic adjustment a couple years ago, which helped tremendously, this has helped keep his back pain free so he can jump and run again like he used to when he was younger.

These help my 13 year old large dog immensely with his hip pain! He can tromp around like a playful puppy when he's not sleeping. only reason not to get 5 stars is the flavor. My dog will leave them behind in his bowl or my hand, even sort them out of virtually any food or treat combination . A big peanut butter coating can get him to swallow them. But its well worth it to see him mobile again!

For my Dachshund, who has had back surgery previously. This is a fine product to compliment his other joint/cartilage suppliants. My dog is not over weight and had spine surgery at age 7. He has plenty of spunk in between long periods of napping.
