The product arrived today 30 April, much earlier than forecast. Having tried it on, I found the garment very comfortable and generously constructed. The pants are made in a rugby shorts style which allow a good amount of looseness but still maintain the necessary contact where required. I actually ordered one size larger than normal which works well. The material of the pants is a soft cotton and the sewing is neat and strong. My only criticism is that the pants liner is badly held onto the pants. One side is half way stitched, the end rear is fully stitched, but the right side is held at two corners by a few loops of stitching. An obvious weakness which as one reviewer commented resulted in a tearing of the pants fabric. This is a fault which the manufacturer should quickly correct.My wife will sort out mine with the sewing machine. I cannot comment on the absorbent quality as I have yet to put them to the test.

I bought these for my dad who suffers from incontinence and dementia, but lives alone. The pants do leak out onto his trousers. Also, as he lives alone and can't use the communal washing machine in his building, he puts the pants in soak for several days. As bleach can't be added to the water, the water often stagnates, meaning the pants never smell fresh, even after a long cycle in the washing machine.Why cannot the pants also be made in white so they can bleached? I have ordered some white pants from a different brand and will try to bleach the colour out of these black pants so they can be soaked in bleach in future.

I had read the reviews and thought maybe there was a problem with the stitching around the pad,but this is not the case. If you use the flyhole then you need free access. I bought these for my husband and they work on every angle, keeping the pee enclosed. They are a very substantial cotton and therefore take a little longer to dry - the reason I am now buying another pair!
