Very good!
Exactly as advertised, this case fits my iPod Touch 4g well even with the bulky Otterbox case. It seals tight; not a drop has gotten through in the ocean, the pool, the waterpark, or the river. The D-ring is a nice touch for securing your extremely valuable device to a pocket, belt loop, backpack, lanyard, etc. Speaking of the Otterbox, I was much impressed that my iPod's camera and other apps are functional under water even through the case's protective screen cover AND the Amphibx cover! Do be sure to press the excess air out before sealing closed if you want to use your device - too much air will prevent the constant contact needed for swipe gestures such as unlocking, which prevented some awesome photos of my playing with manatees.

It works well
I got this because I walk to work and I live in a rainy city. It works really well BUT it is very hard to open especially when you try it for the first time. That's because the seal is so strong. I didn't want to use anything to prise it open in case I damaged it. It's starting to get easier. It most certainly keeps my iPod Classic dry- although I don't do scuba or anything like that! The other thing is that the click wheel is really hard to control through the plastic window. It is best to set up the volume, playlist etc. before you put it into the case. The stop/play FF and rewind etc. work fine.

Sealed Tight!
i bought this and the waterproof earbuds so that i can carry my droid and listen to my pandorawhile i SUP (stand up paddle)!i love having music with me! makes me work-out harder.the case was easy to use! it was very hard to open at first, now i know how.plastic sorta foggy but wiped it out. you can totally use your touch screen thru the plastic!when you attach your headphones, be sure they 'click' down into the socket for a waterproof seal!oh yeah, i tie this onto my board shorts. i just double knot it and it is fine rite there in front of me soez to manipulate if i have to. was recommended to not get the arm band from another SUP friend.hope this helps. :) happy tuneage!

Filled with water and broke my ipod
I used this item as described in the instructions. I tested the water proof seals in a shower AND by submerging the case underwater THREE times for 30 minutes or more whilst the case was empty with no leaks. I then inserted my ipod and tested in the shower. The first time I submerged the case underwater with the ipod, the case filled with water and destroyed my ipod. I am very disappointed. As I have exceeded the date for returns, I cannot return or replace it but I would not want to anyway.

Thanks to H2O Audio I swim more laps so am very healthy at 65
I listen to "books on tape" in my MP3 player while I swim laps. Without this device that would be impossible and thus I would not swim as many laps or be as healthy. It works as advertised and is easy to use and fits in my bathing suit pocket. My MP3 player fits inside and is easy to operate while it is inside the water proof container.

I guess it works.
First off, this case will technically do the job. It should keep your iPod Touch, iPod, or Smart Phone sand free and splashproof at the beach or pool. The clear plastic front and rear of the case got "frosty" by sitting on a table for a day. Not even using it. It has stayed this way. It looks like there is a permanent fog over the screen. Attempts to clean this "fog" off have bee unsuccessful. It's also next to impossible to compress enough air out of the case before sealing it. The internal headphone cable is sufficient for the job, but occasionally gets in the way and you'll have to re-insert the device. The outer headphone jack seems to work. I'm not sure how much I'd trust using this case IN the water though. The headphone jack should seal better if you use H2O Audio's waterproof headphones. HOWEVER, you won't be able to hear a thing, since their headphones are rather horrible. That's for a different product review though...Pros:Less bulky than a pelican or otterbox case.Protects against splashes and sand. You can use a touch screen device while it is in the case.Cons:Plastic will fog up as soon as you remove it from the packaging. This is irreversible.Difficult to squeeze air out to prevent bubbles on the screen.Headphone jack is suspect.

It was like the glue holding the case to the band disintegrated
I received one of these as a birthday gift. I had quit swimming due to some shoulder pain and never did a chance to use it for over a year. Recently I started swimming again and decided to try it. Luckily my husband suggested I submerge it in a bowl of water before trusting my device in it. It immediately leaked and then the whole compartment disengaged from the armband. It was like the glue holding the case to the band disintegrated. I realize I hadn't used it in a year but would have expected, for the money I spent, for it to last longer than a year. It was stored in a closet in our kitchen so didn't experience extreme temperature changed or direct sunlight. I emailed the company a week ago hoping they might replace it and haven't gotten a response.

A disaster!
Luckily luckily so luckily, I followed the instructions and tested it before putting my phone in it. I put in a wad of kitchen towel in it closed it properly and put it in 30 cm of water overnight. In the morning I found that the wad of kitchen towel was completely drenched. Closer examination revealed that the glue around the watertight seal had completely failed!

Great while it last
This is a very nice case but after only 2-3 months of normal use it has a leak an lets water in. Not worth the high price.
