Writing this review on my husband's account.I recently refinished our old piano and an old mirror we have. I originally wanted to use a chalk paint since it's very forgiving and easy to use, but have this milk paint a try because I could not find a navy blue chalk paint that was this rich in color. I'm so glad I went with my gut and picked up this milk paint. It's very easy to use and was already the thin consistency that I make my chalk paint before use (I add a cookie couple sprays of water to my chalk paint before use to get a smoother consistency.) Because it's thinner, I did need to use at least three coats of milk paint to get the same opacity as I would have with two coats of chalk paint, but this was not an issue for me. If anything, it was more forgiving because if I had any paint that pooled up and left paint globs, it was so easy to sand it off before the next coat. I experienced this with the piano because of all the tiny crevasses, but it really wasn't hard to fix.Overall, I'm extremely pleased with the results of both the piano and mirror. For reference, I used five coats of paint on the piano (could've stopped at three, but the piano gets heavy use) and three coats on the mirror. I still have about a fifth of the can left, so I have enough to paint a small piece of furniture.Some tips: 1.) Don't be alarmed when you open the can and the paint looks bright blue; it dries to this deep, gorgeous navy color. 2.) If your piece is shiny, sand it with a medium grit sand paper to give the paint something to grip to. 3.) Use synthetic brushes; the coverage is just much better and easier to work with. 4.) You can use polycrylic as a top coat, but I used Jolie furniture wax as a top coat (also on Amazon); not only has it held up well, but it gave the piano and mirror and even richer color and great, smooth texture. Guests can't help but touch the piano because of how stunning it looks. 5.) If you paint a piano like I did, please don't paint the back/sound board, as this will compromise the sound. 6.) Have fun! I love this paint! Super creamy milk paint thst goes on very smooth and covers very easily. 2 coats for more solid coverage. It worked just like they said it would. I've painted 3 dressers with 1 can. My can did not leak and was shipped with tabs to hold top on and in a sealed bag. Very pleased!

I love this!!! This looks awesome on my wall! The color is vibrant. I didn't know how I'd like the matte look, but I love how it turned out. I was able to use a whole can on one wall(that was all I needed for an accent wall). The color was exactly what I wanted.

was excited to get this but disappointed in the color. I wanted an aqua blue and it looks that way in the picture but when it arrived and I opened it, it was more of a green. Especially after it dried after I painted it. Also, it says that it is a textured look, and it did not look textured at all. It looked more glossy than anything.

This paint worked so well for me. I ordered it to paint my kitchen cupboards and it coated well. It only took a couple of coats. I have wiped and washed the cupboards several times and the paint has not come off at all. I liked that this milk paint was thicker than other paints. Cleaning the brushes after I was done was easy with the milk paint.

This is wonderful paint! I repainted an old dresser to use as an entertainment center. Get this paint! It is so easy to use, goes along way, covers excellent has no smell whatsoever at all. It’s worth the money. It’s thick, cleans up easily and is bright and don’t let the size of the can steer you away this stuff goes along way! Came packaged with lid locks. So there is no leakage. It’s wonderful! Try it!

First off, this paint applied really nicely. I used it on my oak bathroom cabinets after I cleaned, lightly sanded, and used a de-glosser wipe. I applied three coats and the finished product was as it should be. My only problem is that the white isn't really like a bright white as I had hoped. It almost had a greyish tint to it. With that said, it didn't work for my bathroom and I ended up going another route. I would def try using this product though on other projects. Very easy to use and a little goes a long way! I did three coats to my 60" wide by 21" deep vanity and used only about 1/2 of a quart, if that.
