Good Halloween costume piece.

Got them for my buddy's bachelor party in New Orleans (yeah we were those drunk dbags). They lasted a touted night of debauchery through Band Stand, Pat O'Brians, Harrah's, and countless others that need not to be spoken of. Suprisingly durable to withstand what all these poor hats had to witness. Quality is superb. By the end of the night I truly believed I was captain of a three hour sightseeing tour doomed to be stranded on an island. Fit a little big, but thanks to the fact that our heads got a little bigger by feeling like Maverick and Goose helping the unloved get that loving feeling back, they fit like a charm. Order up and enjoy the voyage.

For the price, you can't go wrong. This is definitely a novelty hat - it is one size fits all, so if your head is average, you might be swimming in it. Looks decent though and is a nice costume accessory, or something silly to wear for a boat day. Fun, but not so much functional. What do you expect for less than $10 though?

I'm 24 and already on my way to being an awesome drunk old man with the purchase of this cap. I had never even seen the ocean before I got this thing. Once it arrived in the mail I was able to navigate an 80 footer by myself through the Straits of Magellan.Seriously though, you're getting what you pay for. The brim is plastic, the fabric is thin, and the back is snap clasped. If you want a prime time captain's hat, maybe look up a notch in price. If you rather spend that money on Sailor Jerry's like a true sailor, this hat's the one for you!

Well, I bought this hat for a theme party. To me it was a great deal for the price; I mean, it's not something you would wear all the time. To me it was a blast, it fits me great, even dough I have a small head. The materials aren't bad, except for the plastic part in the back (wich allows it to fit all heads) it look fragile, but as long as you wouldn't put it on and off all day, is all good. And it looks very nice on!!! P.S. I hope this can help you to make your mind.

These were for a bridal shower that took place on a boat and were perfect!

I have always wanted to be a captain so what better way than buy this Captain hat! Instantly when I put it on, I felt the ocean breeze and the waves a rocking...next thing I know, I am in the Bahamas being escorted off a boat by the Coast Guard.
