The battery charges fine and does what is advertised. The extra battery life is a lifesaver since I use my phone all day. The S Pen and charging ports are easy to use. However, the MP3 plug is a bit too deep for most "normal" MP3 wires to get to. This isn't an issue for me because I use Bluetooth for everything, but I'm sure it can be an issue for some. The phone also tends to get hot when charging, but that is just a normal side effect of charging a phone. Please keep in mind when buying this case, you are not only adding more than double the battery life but also more weight! The Note 9 is 7.1 ounces and this case adds another 4.9 ounces (70% more weight). The added weight does make a difference (and thickness!) when it comes to car mounts that are "suction cupped" to the dashboard for anchoring. I had to buy a "cd player insert" car mount because the suction cup mount I had couldn't support the extra weight and the phone was too thick to properly grab the phone.

The case does charge the battery as advertised. The best purpose for this case for times when you need extra power, like special events when a charging port isn't available, but you need to use your phone a lot. I could see this coming in handy on an airplane for entertainment or when traveling, but as the title says I would not use it as an everyday case. The extra power, adds extra weight and bulk but should be expected. The main reason I wouldn't use it every day though is that, even though there is edge protection, the case does not protrude out from the front of the phone leaving the screen unprotected.

Update: the seller reached out to me quickly and assured that they will send me another oneThis item doesn’t do what it suppos to do..The device has been on charge all day and 15 minutes of charging it’s down to 1 bar that fast...I bought plenty of battery cases from Vproof, but this let me down all the way..

Causes the phone to go into slow charging do to this not being an official product. Which in turns defeats the purpose of having a portable charger because you only get half the battery out of it due to the slow charging. Takes really long to charge phone to a 100% almost 3 hours when plugged into wall with case on. Case also seems to loosen charging outlet of phone if taken off multiple times. Case also blocks the use the fingerprint. Nice case just not for this phone . Refund please

I love the fact that this product supports fast charging. I used to have one with my S8 that didn't and it was a little frustrating. The only issue that I have is that there is no lip to even attempt to protect the screen at all, so be careful.

Love this case I've useed it for months now.yes it's heavy and adds allot of size to ur phone but really works well

This case is bulky and feels clumsy in the hand and that's to be expected when you got a monster battery on a monster device. Functional wise though it serves its purpose
