While the delivery was smooth, the boxed mattress is quite heavy and cumbersome to move with just one person. I highly recommend having two people to move it around the house and help with the setup. This will make the process much easier and more manageable.During the expansion process, I observed that the mattress sections on the outside of the roll expanded within an hour, while the section in the middle of the roll took about two days to fully expand. Due to this, I placed the middle rolled section by the footboard to allow additional expansion over time while still being able to use the mattress after 48 hours.As someone who weighs over 300 pounds, I find this mattress to be very comfortable and supportive. It provides excellent stability and does not sag, ensuring a restful night's sleep. What's more, it's extremely comfortable during side sleeping, providing the perfect level of cushioning and support.Overall, the Signature Design by Ashley Chime 12 Inch Memory Foam Mattress is a fantastic investment for anyone looking for a comfortable, supportive, and high-quality mattress. First of all, here's what you guys should know before I get started. Before I bought this bed, I had a Lull Mattress that cost me over $600 altogether. I loved that bed with a passion and was the greatest bed I ever used..... until I got this one. See, I moved at the beginning of last year (2020) and I lost my Lull Mattress in the process. I still don't know how or why it happened, but I lost the mattress and I needed a new one for my new room. However, being short on money with all my other moving expenses and stuff at the time, I looked for a great alternative; this was it.For being roughly a third of the price I bought this mattress. It shipped quick and arrived in box just like the Lull Mattress I once had. Unpacking and expanding it was the same process. Just take it out of the box, unroll it, and cut the plastic. Boom, watch as magic unfolds before your eyes as the mattress takes its form. The bed will increase inch by inch and will reach its complete size and firmness in about 12-24 hours. A thing to note, however, is that this bed does still have a slight chemical smell to it for the first couple days before it wears down. I do not know if that is the smell of the foam itself or the way it was packaged, but just know that the smell is unavoidable for the first couple of nights.Anyway, the bed is incredible. I know I already mentioned that, but it is worth repeating. Like a gift from the Heaven of ultimate value and comfort, this was exactly that. Crafted by the angels, it feels like a cloud once you lay down upon it and you will get the urge to play a harp and wear a halo over your head shortly after. It truly is amazing but in all seriousness, I love the bed because it is exactly what I like. Mind you, what I like may not be what everyone else likes. This bed is entirely 100% foam, but not all of it is the same type of foam. The main foundation of the bed is a rigid, firm foam that makes up the overall support of the bed and in the middle there is like a half-and-half type of foam, not the cream you put in your coffee, but it is like a middle ground between the softness of the top layer of memory foam and the firmness of the support foam. Then, the top layer as mentioned in a shallow-but-adequate layer of soft, high quality memory foam. Not the type that you would immediately sink in, but the kind that slowly/gently sinks in and then slowly rises back up to retain it's shape once your weight has been removed. All these layers are what makes this bed absolutely breathtaking.When you first sit on it, as if you were sitting on the edge, it may appear to sink in a lot, but once you stretch your body across it, you will feel the firmness of the bed overall and the support it has in keeping your body in place. Now, I know some people prefer super soft beds that re-align your spine to the equivalent of an 80 year old man, and I know some prefer to sleep on beds as hard as concrete, but this is the best middle ground. It has the comfort of softer beds but without the back aches you would have when waking up in the morning, and it has the support and firmness of a giant hand cradling your tiny body.So, I overall really enjoy the bed. It has the exact same form and build as my Lull Mattress BUT at a much more affordable price. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a high quality brand name like mattress who do not want to spend too much money. And for those wondering if the lower price means cheap quality, worry not. These are NOTHING like the horrible cheap foam mattresses you can get at Wal-Mart for like $90 bucks. These are supreme quality and there is simply nothing else like it at this price factor. If I was to have any complaints, it is that the foam can get a bit warm during the summer time as it is a good insulator, but other than that it is the bed I would recommend above all. We have purchased several mattresses in our lives. Some cheap, some super expensive (like thousands of dollars), some boxed and some spring. We decided to go for this one when we saw it on sale and bought the 12”, California king. This is BY FAR the best mattress we’ve ever bought and we are SO glad we went for it.My husband has nerve damage from an accident and since sleeping on this mattress, his pain has been reduced by more than half. I am usually a very light sleeper, tossing and turning all night, waking up every time he moves. With the mattress, I fall asleep and stay asleep until my alarm goes off.It is firm, supportive, and molds perfectly to your body. My husband and I are both on the heavier side, and nearly two months in, this mattress is still perfect. No signs of drooping or sagging. Out of the box it filled right up, and even though there was a very slight plastic smell from the wrapping, it was gone by the time we made the bed. We let it breathe and expand several days, but honestly a couple hours after opening it had already filled out beautifully.I can not recommend this mattress enough. If you are on the fence because you’ve been let down by previous boxed mattresses, take the plunge anyways. It’s amazing. And the price is unbelievable.When it’s time to replace other mattresses in our house we will be getting these!

This mattress is on the firmer side. No complain. Perfect sleep and support thru the night. It's great for people has back pain. This is our 3rd foam mattress. We had a Magniflex for over 10 years. It was expensive but money worth spent. We would like to upgrade to a King size mattress but a Magniflex was out of our budget. We also have an Endy in twin. It's nice foam mattresses on a budget but it's too soft/plush for our backs. When we came across this one, many reviewers mentioned this is firm or too firm. This was the one!! Great quality and price. Inflated in 24 hours.

I was very weary about purchasing a mattress online, that in the case I didn't like, would be a pain to return once opened and expanded. However, my experience has been very good with this mattress. It is thick, firm and extremely comfortable. I presumed I was having major back issues and was extremely sore after a nights rest due to an old mattress so I purchased this. I've had a good nights sleep and no more back pain since getting this mattress. There was no smell as some have mentioned. I also slept in the spare room for 2 nights to allow it to completely expand and do its job. Very pleased and highly recommend.

I bought this bed back in November, I am so glad that I did. If you love a firm bed this bed is for you! Amazing! I haven’t had a good night sleep in a long time, until this bed! So happy with this purchase. I will say again, it is a firm bed. You want to like a firm bed in order to love this bed.It came to life in a day, no smell what so ever. Higher than advertised which was awesome!Life changing bed!
