I replaced the jagwire 5.0 brake lines on my specialized mtb with this product I commute everyday on my bike about 12 miles a day so will see over time how they do the other ones lasted years this product was easy to install and came with everything needed i would recommend having a tool for cutting and crimping i didnt have one so it was a little more work but overall I'm am pleased .

These are very high quality. There is lubrication inside the housings. Very smooth. They are unfortunately pretty expensive which is why I gave 4 stars on value for money. Using for the clutch cable for my motorized bike which requires high quality strong parts. These have held up very well. I wish they sold one for the throttle. Saving up for the derailleur and brakes.

I saw pictures online of the Carbon Silver color everywhere I could find it before ordering.In case you are interested in figuring out what exactly it looks like, here it is:The carbon silver is a mix between silver and dark dirty gold, with little yellow tint. It is sealed in a sort of soft slick plastic or rubber type coating, but it is very thin. You get very few shadows on the braided metal surface underneath from the depth (which I was hoping would be thicker). I assume it will darken over time with sun exposure, since the outer coating material looks transparent. I didn't see any blue tints in any lighting.Honestly not that thrilled with it so far - it looks a little dirty held up to my bike. I'll update when I install it on the bike and hopefully it matches better.The thickness of the brake cable and housing are normal. Other ferrule endcaps fit, though in my case a little loosely. No separate rubber/plastic hosing was visible.

Construction looks great. It has worked great so far for 6 months but that is expected of even cheap ones. Color is not silver and is more like a dark gold at times and dark brown/muddy green at times (all depends on light and angle) but never silver.

Work much better then my 10 year old cables, instructions were typical and minimal. Checked You Tube to make sure I was doing it correctly.When finished they worked great and look great.

These brake lines & cables are built to go the distance......They are very durable and have an almost "Rolls Royce" feel about them.You won't be disappointed.

Had this on the bike since July. Outer cable housing is great, but would question the quality of the inner cable. Rear brake started to delay when braking. Found the cable had frayed part way through the lower housing causing it to stick. Having to source more inner cable quickly

J'avais déjà commandé ce kit en gris, et testé sur 800km cette année 2022. Excellent rapport qualité prix, avec double embout pour vélo de route ou vtt.L'installation nécessite absolument une pince coupe câble adaptée, pour les câbles comme pour les gaines.Comme tous les câbles se détendent avec le temps, vitesses ou frein, je vous conseille de dévisser les butées de gaine au niveau des leviers de frein au moment de l'installation, puis de les revisser et de re-régler au niveau des étriers d'ici une année minimum. Comme ça la pliure du câble faite par le serrage au niveau des étriers se retrouvera en dehors, et pas juste avant le serrage sur les étriers.C'est souvent pour ça que les vieilles commandes de vitesses marchent mal : comme le câble est coincé/serré au niveau du dérailleur, la butée de cable remonte à l'intérieur du shifter et rend le passage de vitesses difficile ou impossible. Alors qu'en fait il suffit de retendre le câble !Je vous conseille aussi de détacher l'attache rapide sur les étriers de frein quand vous ne faites pas de vélo pendant une longue période, hiver ou autre : ça vas préserver le ressort des étriers v-brake et leur picot qui s'insère dans le cadre pour l'arrière et sur la fourche pour l'avant, ainsi que l'étirement du câble lui même. Pourquoi laisser le tout sous tension alors qu'on ne s'en sert pas et que ça prend 3 secondes à enlever. Vous doublez la durée de vie en faisant ça

Qualitativ ist das Set für den Preis echt Super...die Optik ist auch sehr schön...auf der Verpackung steht das, die Bremszugummantlung bereits geölt ist...was auch stimmt aber nicht ausreichend...daherempfehle ich jedem vor der Endmontage etwas Silikonöl nachzukippen.
