Niteangel Natural Coconut Hideaway with Ladder, Bird and Small Animal Toy (House with Ladder, Natural Surface)

I bought this for my two gerbils, and it is a huge success. It took them a little while to figure out the hanging bridge part, but they were pretty motivated once I put some treats in the coconut; now they hang out in there all the time! My gerbils are litter trained and don't pee in the coconut, so I can't speak to ease of cleaning, but I got the smooth one and it doesn't look like it would be too hard to clean if I needed to. The one thing I will say is that if you’re buying it for a pet that chews a lot, you might consider replacing some of the twine components with wire. I figured my gerbils would make short work of the twine, and sure enough, they had chewed through two different strings in five minutes—but it’s a really easy solution with some twisted wire through the pre-existing holes, and I was ready for that eventuality before I bought it. My gerbils absolutely love it, and if your pet doesn’t chew much you’ll have no problems at all! Highly recommend.

I ended up drilling another hole in the top of each to put the rope through. The way they had it the knot pulled through the coconut and fell with my crested inside. She was fine but definitely startled if she had a tail she would probably have dropped it.But I have bought more and will definitely be redoing the rope and adding another hole on these as well

I can't give a full review as the birds I bought this for are not mine, this was a gift. As a matter of fact this is the second one I bought. It was placed in a cage where two budgies reside and there was an issue, sharing was not an option. Therefore, the second one. I haven't heard from the owner yet as to how the two coconuts are working out. Apparently, they both wanted it for their own, so I'd have to say it was well received.

This was east to set up. I set it up near the middle of the tank just in case he gets too hot on his basking/hot side. I put some moss in it and I spritz it to help with shedding and Little Foot loves it. Before this I never saw him during the day bc he was sitting in his moist hide all day, now I see him so much more. I keep it lined with Flukkers moss and just throw the moss out every few days to keep it clean and I wipe it out with hot water now and then. I love this thing. Anything to add more to my baby LEO's clutter.

My birds like this. They can fit about two birds and pretty good for the quality. Hard to clean poop off of.

Très robuste. Ma perruche avait peur dès le début de la petite maison en noix de coco, je la forcais à la mettre dedans mais elle voulait pas et sortait sans cesse... Plusieurs jours passés, et elle est enfin entrée ! Elle l'aime à présent, et elle fait ses dodos à l'intérieur. Heureuse de lui avoir acheté ça, car ça lui permet désormais de mieux dormir et avoir beaucoup de sommeils contrairement à avant.5/5 ♡
