I set up my fireflies in a small square terrarium on my kitchen counter. It looks awesome in the evening!A must have for such a set-up. I actually bought one of these many, many years ago (the one in the pics with black wires and only 7 lights) and thought they were out of production, because I could not find them online anywhere. To my delight, I saw these on Amazon and bought a couple of spares, just in case they do quit making them. Firefly magic is the brand you want, they are the most realistic on the market! I also have their plugged in versions in my house and a solar version out in my patio. When it gets dark it looks like I'm in the bayou.

The program that dictates the flash and flicker of the lights mimics the actual lighting patterns of fireflies. The effect is super realistic! I like to wrap them around fake ferns and Spanish moss; they look amazing! With a bayou-like soundscape--burbling water, crickets, etc.--they create an atmosphere reminiscent of Disneyland's Blue Bayou. I have four sets, and will likely buy more. They may seem pricey, but they are worth every penny!

The media could not be loaded.  The lights really act like fireflies (I grew up with fireflies and miss them living in the desert) However, the cords to the lights are all the same length and short!!! Also, it's expensive for only getting about 10 lights. I got these because my 5 year old wanted an Alligator Swamp birthday party. It does look neat in the dark with the fog machine.

The media could not be loaded.  I love these firefly lights; they add a little touch of magic to my home. Yes, they are a little pricey, but they're so unique! I get complements on them every time someone sees them. I run them day and night and the batteries need to be changed maybe once a month. I'd definitely recommend to any outdoor or lightning bug fan!

They work perfect. Love them. My only concern is how delicate the wires appear to be, I'm worried about leaving them where someone careless can accidentally break them. But they were a big hit for my display and I hope to use them year after year.

Had them on none stop, since I got them. They work perfectly and look extremely real. Would buy another set after these die on me.

I bought this as a gift for my best friend at her wedding. We always joked about releasing lightening bugs during the wedding. She loved it and now uses it in her home. This is the only light I have found that looks realistic. I would definitely purchase again.
