Datel Freeloader (Wii)

I have bought a Freeloader for our Wii US console before and needed a replacement. Unfortuneatly, the picture of the Freeloader case on Amazon.co.uk is not complete. It is missing whether the Freeloader is used for Euro or US consoles straight across the center of the case. So, I have now a Freeloader for a Euro Wii console that is unusable. I have since found the proper Freeloader for roughly the same price on a different website, CodeJunkies. Bummed out...

Handy item

This product doesn't work do not buy it, I bought this item to play an American wii game that I bought from amazonUSA but the disc isn't the proper size of a cd it's very small and when I inserted it into my wii console nothing happened a wast of money there should be one that has a full sized disc that works?Alan Reid

I got this so I could play my American import of "No More Heroes" for my wii.It works perfectly, I highly recommend if you want games in Europe waaaaay before their release date, the games and postage are usually cheaper too.This does NOT affect your wii at all. But it will not work with online games such as Super Smash Brothers Brawl because if you get the US version you cannot connect to the US servers. But for games like No More Heroes and Manhunt 2 it is ideal, plus it is only £10!

When inserting the mini disc into the Wii the machine just says there is an error and will not work. A complete waste of money.

The freeloader is very useful as games from the USA are normally a lot cheaper and they are normally out there before they are out in europe. works. but can be tempramental some times u have to insert it twice because if you only insert it once it makes the gamework but only in black and white. Also sometimes i would just be happily playing my Wii then the game will just freeze it's like th freeloader cancels out and my wii remembers it shouldn't work. But if you can't wait for release i'd get it. I also got this product quite a while a go and it may work better now.

This - when it worked - took ages to load and was too much trouble to use regularly. Then, as soon as I bought a new game, an update from Nintendo disabled the Freeloader, preventing its use. DO NOT BUY THIS! It will not work anymore!

it is Europe Wii only and I don't have a Wii like that so I'm stuck with it

Seems like the freeloader doesn't work on the latest version of the nintendo wii (bought in France)This review only concerns the item, amazon did a great job for shipping, as usual!

Nachdem ich mich entschlossen hatte , mir einen Freeloader samt Super Smash brothers Brawl zu kaufen , entschied ich mich für diesen Freeloader. Die Handhabung ist sehr einfach und funktioniert einwandfrei,das einzigste Problem ist , dass z.b. Amerikanischen Spiele wie SSBB nicht mit Pal sondern mit NTSC laufen.Mein Fernseher unterstützt leider nur Pal , weswegen das Spiel schwarzweiß läuft , was aber nichts mit der Funktion des Freeloaders zu tun hat.Zur Behebung dieses Problems braucht man einfach einen NTSC to PAL Converter.Ich hätte nicht gedacht , dass es so einfach ist , ausländische Spiele auf meiner Konsole zuhause zu spielen.
