The blade is super sharp! I used it this afternoon to see whether I could scrape off the texture on my ceiling, and the popcorn texture came off easily! A contractor had given me a bid for three thousand dollars to remove a popcorn ceiling that measures 1,093 square feet.Instead, I will be using this tool to remove the popcorn ceiling at my duplex apartment, as well as at my home. Will it take me a long time to finish? Maybe it will, but I am not paying $2.75 per square foot!

I'm slowly gonna switch out all my knives for these,love the grip, easier to clean, application is as good as my marshaltownOr other brands I got.But as I need to replace knives ( or if)the grips got me sold on level 5 !!!And they look cool!!

Item arrived with a slight nick—so, leaves lines in mud (joint compound)—sanded down and seams to work better

This 8-inch taping knife is the perfect size for shaping taut sour dough loaves of bread. The stainless steel blade is food safe and the handle very comfortable in the hand. I wasn't able to make such perfect loaves with an ordinary bench knife, but this one makes shaping easy, which means less handling of the dough and better oven spring. And I love the red handle. It's MY new favorite tool and not going anywhere near the garage!

It is on par with a Richard's 14 inch. Similear handle feel, it may be just a little bit firmer then the Richard's tho

Level.5 knives are great. I liked that they put a guard on the blue edge for shipping.They showed up.2 days early.Over all a good experience and great product.
