KanexAirBlue Portable Bluetooth Music Receiver with Stereo Output (3.5 mm) for Home and Auto Stereo Systems

I heard about this product on the podcast MacBreak weekly and thought it would allow me to more easily tie my phone to my car. It has worked wonderfully. But here's the really amazing bit. I bartend at a local bar and on slow nights I connect the device to our house system. With Amazon's cloud music player I'm able to literally DJ from my phone. I can take requests while talking to customers on the other end of the bar! Sometimes a discussion will start up about a movie trailer or a comedian or a YouTube video and I can play it instantly thru the house sound system. I'm usually on the cutting edge of technology but for some reason this product, in particular, seems miraculous. It works just as well when entertaining guests at my house.Ease of use once your figure out the one button press time to start it, it works flawlessly. I did have trouble with the limited directions at first but had it working with in 10 minutes and never had a problem again.

At first when I opened the product, the battery was not charged at all and so when I first tried it, I could berely hear it in the speakers. After I charged it for three hours or so, I plugged it into my car and tried it. It connected with my phone automatically and was playing just as if I'd have my phone plugged into my car speakers. I love that its lightweight and small, so it doesnt take up space and can be hidden in my car while I have music playing from my phone which can remain in my purse or pocket. I would totally recommend this to someone who doesnt want to fuss around with a cable constantly!

I've purchased two of these now for use in my car and both have died on me within about 18-24 months. I plug it in to my mini jack at one end and my USB charger on the other, never touching it again except to turn it on and off.Too short of a lifespan notwithstanding, it is not a very good product. I only purchased it a second time due to giving my first one that died the benefit of the doubt. Fool me once... The sound quality isn't great. You should also expect a significant amount of persistent background hum and interference, something I've never experienced with any of my other Bluetooth receivers/transmitters using the same iPhone in the same vehicle. I also experienced an annoying and constant problem with the Kanex AirBlue connecting with my iPhone 6 Plus, far too often having to open up the iPhone's Bluetooth settings and manually connect it.... until the eventual day (twice now) when it simply fails connect at all. Fool me twice... I've purchased a different product to replace the latest Kanex AirBlue that died.

I got this to use in my apartment just so I could roam around freely, exercise, etc. and not have to blast my movies or music through my speakers.The quality is good for the price: not too muddy, no hiss, it get plenty loud.The pause/play button works with iTunes and is a handy feature.My only complaints are that there is no place to put a clip so I have to put it in a pocket, and a volume control would have been nice. But it is made to connect to powered speakers or a car stereo, so that makes sense. There are more expensive products with those options.This also paired with my computer and iPhone easily. I've tried a few other cheap brands that were very finicky.

This is just what I was looking for! The distance for it is acceptable for any Bluetooth device. Quality is great as well. I use this device in my car so I don't have to hook any wires to my phone for playing music. I also will be using it when I host bonfires so I don't have to go up to my garage to change songs. I have a stereo hooked up inside my garage with speakers inside and outside. Tested the distance and it reaches all the way to the farthest chairs easily. Come spring time this will be awesome! I do recommend this device to anyone looking for a device like this. I have had it a week now and couldn't wait to write a review.

No microphone for calls, but if you want to put bluetooth in your car, home stereo, etc... This works great. Easy set up, and battery lasts weeks between charges. And sound quality almost as good as if I plugged in an aux cord. I have connected my iphone 5, iPad mini & MacBook Air with no problems. Use it to listen too music while I'm driving and sometime watch movies on laptop. Works flawlessly!!

Bought this to replace an RF signal device and this did not do as well. But it is not completely the AirBlues fault. It had to penetrate two layers of hurricane proof glass and the RF signal device did a better job of it although it to had difficulties.

I purchased it to use it to go wireless with my auxiliary jack in my car for the stereo. It does not have enough power to drive the system. Only a very faint signal comes through. Not sure if it is because the system in my car, BMW, is a high end Harman Karden or what, but it just won't drive a hot enough signal to make it worth while.

This little gadget is absolutely great. Charge it, pair it with your Bluetooth device, connect it to you music system and you're ready to go!It's so small I thought I'd been sent the wrong item but it works like a dream. I use it primarily to stream music from my Spotify account on my iPad. Range is fine for line of sight but breaks up pretty quickly if you take the iPad into an area with a wall in the way but that's not a worry for me

Well, it has one button and it does everything it says on the box. Great to turn any speaker with an aux input in an iPhone or iPad wireless speaker. Recommended.

Der Kanex AIRBLUE ist ein wirklich erstklassiger Bluetooth Adapter.Hat direkt mit all meinen Geräten funktioniert und kommt jetzt bei mir im Auto zum Einsatz und auch da verrichtet er seine Arbeit Tag für Tag tadellos.Ich bin wirklich schwer begeistert von dem Gerät und die Musik kommt auch in einer Qualität aus den Boxen wie wenn ich mein iPhone über Kabel anschließe.Einfach fantastisch!Ein kleinen Hinweis habe ich aber an all die Leute die das Gerät kaufen wollen.Im Internet findet man immer außer hier in den Beschreibungen das Mini USB verwendet wird. Das stimmt leider nicht mehr ganz. Die neuen Kanex AIRBLUE werden alle mit Micro USB ausgeliefert. Im Lieferumfang sind zwar Kabel dabei aber wer z.B. ein kürzeres Kabel kaufen wie ich sollte warten bis das Gerät eintrifft. Es gibt keine 100% Garantie das jetzt ALLE mit Micro USB ausgeliefert werden aber meiner hatte den Anschluss.Hoffe die Bewertung hat euch bei dem Kauf eines Bluetooth Adapters weitergeholfen!
