Carabelle StudioA6 Cling Stamp-A Bird on My Journal, Rubber, White/Transparent

Image stamps backwards (not as shown). I can still use it as a background stamp but not as a focal image as I had planned. Also image stamps a little blurry, I don't like the white hard rubber, might have been better if it was made from the clear silicone style material.

I want to love these more than any other stamp I have (which are in the hundreds) but no matter what I do, I cannot seem to get a nice even fully-inked result. It's as if the stamp is not quite level. Anyways, I have been using them in other ways that I have grown to love. They work great by stamping in any smooth texture for a beautiful and eye catching background surface.

I bought these stamps to use with the water droplet stamps made by Ryn. I think they will go perfectly together.

This is all one stamp, You would be able to ink the words individually or cut them apart if you like. The stamp is high quality, As usual it was shipped quickly and safely.

I have several Carabelle Studio stamps and they are excellent quality. They are deeply etched and stamp consistently well - there's a lot of detail in them, I love using them. They clean well, too. I particularly like the text on Alice's skirt in this design, the look on the White Rabbit's face and the quote in French.This was delivered before the period specified, excellent service, thank you!Update to the above: Having used the text stamp of this set, I realise now that the quote is only in French on the packaging, it is in English on the actual stamp and the word 'tell' is spelled incorrectly - it says, 'tel'. There is no room between the words to easily stamp the 'l' twice, effectively rendering that part useless. Although the other 2 stamps are lovely, (and consistent with other products I have from Carabelle), I feel slightly disappointed and have, therefore, deducted a star from my original review.

I tried stamping this using 3 different types of ink. I couldn't get her hair to stamp with Ranger Archival or with Distress Oxide ink. Best was Momento ink but still had to go in and ink in her hair. Really annoying as it's a beautiful stamp but no way will you get a good image after numerous gos. I used a stamping platform too which helped as I stamped about 5 times before I gave up.

I love this stamp, it stamps beautifully and so many options for colouring in various ways depending on the project, I will adding the wings to the paler one for a Christmas card, I was under the impression this was going to be a clear stamp for some reason but having a platform to use this isn't a problem, perfect.
