ASP Safety Fundamentals Exam Flashcard Study System: ASP Test Practice Questions & Review for the Associate Safety Professional Exam (Cards) Flc Crds Edition

I am a safety professional and I feel that the flash card system is one of the greatest tools I’ve used to study while at the job site. While working 12 hour shifts I get the opportunity to study the flashcards at moments in between safety audits and on breaks as well. I also appreciate the flash card system because it’s compacted with information that I need and being that it’s not bulky I can practically bring it anywhere and always prep myself for the exam.

I am new to the BCSP process as I have been leading EHS in two separate companies for close to a decade. Now I have decided to get my certifications and looked for study help for the ASP first, and then the CSP next. I decided to purchase the Flash Card Study system and it was worth my money and time. It is very indepth and a good study help. I went through each card maybe 6 times. I decided to take the ASP about three weeks prior and received the flash cards less than one week prior to the test. I passed the test and now have my ASP certification. Thanks, in part, to the Mometrix Flash Card System.

I haven't taken the test yet but as far as content, layout and organization, I give both the book and the flash cards a 4 out of 5. If I pass my test, I will update rating to a 5! I appreciate the section separations and obvious amounts of editing that has gone into the content (I've purchased study guides in the past that have atrocious grammar and were obviously not proof read).What would make this system a 5 out of 5 for me would be the following:1- make the flash cards less wordy; bullet points or 1-2 sentences are easier to commit to memory than full paragraphs2- add a "formula sheet" to the book; maybe a tear out page.3- move the math section towards the middle or back. Having it as the first part of this book emphasizes its importance but COMPLETELY freaks me out and I put the book down many times over the last few months because I couldn't face the math. I ended up skipping it and coming back to it.4- add a "blank answer sheet" that we can use while we take the practice test. It can be a single one pager with just a line next to numbers (ie: 1. __ 2. __ 3. __). We can photo copy and take test multiple times. This would cost nothing but add a lot of value

So far I really like the flashcards. The cards are way more detailed than I had pictured prior to receiving them. I like the quantity of the flashcards in the pack I haven’t taken the exam yet, but can already tell these cards are helping me identify what areas I need to focus on. I like how the cards have the subject on each card too to assist in organizing them. These cards will surely make the studying more effective.

I would definitely recommend these flash cards, they’re very detailed and help give a bit more focus on what to study/know

These are awful. First, they are not even separated, so you get to individually separate each one. Second, they are not really flash cards, they are 5pt. font paragraphs on the back of each card with very little summarization, as in...a flashcard. One might as well just use a book. Seriously do not waste your money on these.

These "flashcards" are not your typical "flashcards" due to the amount of information on them. They are super helpful when studying, but they are not quick answer flashcards, but they contain paragraphs of information in very small writing. They are helpful, but it is more of a book then quick study guide material.

This study tool was recommended to me by another safety professional. They are great so far, I haven't sat for my test yet, but they do make me feel very prepared.
