The second chapter better known as the new horizon in the Cafe del Mar Aria series. Featuring contributions form Paul Schwartz and others. Digipak also boasts versions of Ebben (from Alfredo Catalani's "La Wally"), Barcarolle (from Jacques Offenbach's "Les Contes d'Hoffmann") and Addio (from Giuseppe Verdi's "La traviata"). The voices and the instruments combined with the groove trend, provide an exciting experience for the soul and for the heart.

Love the music.
(Ordered from Zoverstocks) I ordered this CD because I love the 'Ave Maria' track on it. The CD itself is in pretty good condition. My only complaint is that the paper/cardboard case for the CD is pretty beat up.

Loved this album.
I think this work kept me company day in and day out for weeks and I never tired of it. The emotional power of beautiful vocal work, backed up with innovative and groundbreaking (at the time) modern orchestration and rhythm. I've been looking for other things just like it ever since. *sigh*

Vol.2-Cafe Del Mar Aria
I had already purchased and enjoyed Aria 3 Metamorphosis so I thought I would acquire Vol.2. It did not disappoint.Paul Schwartz has again conceived and conducted a memorable series of songs with Rebecca Luker as lead singer. If you enjoy New Age music you should be pleased with this.

Awesome!
Strange new renditions of well-known classic arias, performed with great precision. I've never heard anything quite like it, before Paul Schwartz.

A very good modern interpretation of classic opera
I should agree that nowadays more and more composers return to retro styles and classics because almost everything has been tried and it's hard to make something new. I should also admit that it's plenty of attempts to re-make classics in order to be comfortable to ears of modern youth. That's right. But not so many of that composers, producers make a really good stuff. Aria's are that rare beauty from all other garbage.Although I can't tell you that I like Aria 2 more than Aria, it's still very good, with more melancholic notes, inlcuding very subtle guitar samples, violins, violas, cellos and, of course, electro textures.Paul Schwartz had made a very good job in this new album. But, nevertheles, I can't not to mention about the lenght of several tracks and strange to me dublication of Sviraj (lullauby)/Lullaby (Sviraj) - the same music, the same voice.Anyway, if you're into modern beats and at least a bit into classics, this music is for you!

Bliss
Be warned: Not for the real opera lover, however, this CD gets played more often than some of my operatic sets!Easy listening and well conceived, the album is great from start to finish. Stand out tracks are Ebben and Addio, as well as a great Ave Maria

Another Hemisphere
On a recent trip to Buenos Aires, Argentina I accompanied my daughter to the hotel gym. It was late, the gym was about to close for the evening. While waiting I heard some interesting sounds over the PA. It obviously was not canned music, I had the feeling that the woman closing up the gym had put on her own CD to work by. When I asked her what it was she told me it was Cafe del Mar. I had never heard of this group, but I went over to Musimundo (the Wherehouse of Argentina) and asked for it. The young man's face lite up when he heard me request Cafe del Mar. He told me they're incredible and sold me two CDs. I have been so attached to ARIA, I haven't even heard the other one yet.Aria is a wonderful interpretation of classical opera. I suppose you would have to call it techno music, but I prefer to keep it unclassified as it contains not only modern sound but Opera and some Jazz overtones. The artist has succeeded in rearranging some spectacular arias in a most interesting format. Please treat yourself to Aria, by Cafe del Mar. It is superb. My only complaint is that it only has eight delectable tracks, too short!

Great themed chill music
I bought Aria (vol1) in a second hand shop and absolutely loved it so I had to look for vol 2 and vol 3. This has just arrived and on first play is even better than vol1. It is a great blend of classical opera and contemporary themes. It is relaxing and great background music for photo editing (my hobby) and many other activities. I have many chill compilations but it is good to have something with a theme.I am sure I will play it in the car too. Just waiting for vol3 to arrive now!

Moved house and lost this CD. One of my favourites of all time. Now I have a new copy which was sent quickly and I have been playing it over and over again. Love it. A brilliant album. Buy it!

Super Service! Toller Verkäufer! Jederzeit wieder! Vielen Dank 😊
