And then there were two
The media could not be loaded. We got the Turbo Jungle Set recently and wondered if the enjoyment would last for long with our grandson. He loved it but after a while just having the one engine (a turbo Thomas like this one) made him rather lose interest. So we got a second turbo Thomas. It has a slightly different paint finish to the one that came with the Jungle set but works just the same. It responds accurately to the turbo boost bits of track (we didn't need the extra ones that came with this engine), leaps through the air accurately and lasts a long time on a set of batteries. Having two turbo Thomas trains on the track at once has rekindled our grandson's enthusiasm.

Good fun. As reliable as the non turbo engines.
Ours are still going after a year of abuse. We were worried by reports of the turbo function failing, but ours are ok.

Turbo boost Thomas
It’s a great item but the turbo boost stopped working within a day of being played with. The train still runs though.

Do not buy this train - it fails after a short period of play. Faulty product.
Do not buy this toy. I should have read the previous reviews and now have a very disappointed three year old son. After ten minutes the toy refused to go turbo or fast, tried two fresh sets of batteries but this made no difference. Now the toy just goes round slower than normal track master. Don’t have the heart to return it as son happy pushing. This toy fails, do not buy this faulty product.

I got it for my grandson's birthday. He was so excited and very happy. I wish you could see his face when he opened it up. I sure it is a great toy.
