I studied this guide intensely while preparing for my West-E test, and it was definitely helpful. The only issue I found was that the actual West-E test questions were mainly scenario based questions (what would you do if...?) and the study guide didn't have a lot of scenario based material. But, it was definitely helpful to review this book before taking the test as it included really good information about all of the theories/strategies, linguistics, and assessment (which was another big part of the actual test). If you're taking the West-E ELL (051) test, I highly recommend studying from this book before taking the test.

This helped me feel more confident in my test. I scored consistently on the proetests, and ultimately scored similarly on the WEST-E, though im not sure why that worked out. The test is ridiculous, all scenario based, and had very little to do with actual facts. I'm not sure this book actually helped at all, but this book has all the information you would THINK would be on the test. If you're going to study anything, then it should be this.

This study guide is helping me review the material to prepare me for the WEST-E ELL test. It is very easy to read. I love that it has practice questions after every section and 200 practice questions on the back of the book. I am certain I will pass the test on the first try, thanks to this study guide. This book is worth the price!!! I will be using cirrus test prep products in the future for my other endorsements.

Most information in this guide was not even on the test. It over prepares you!

The study guide material and very helpful and true to the real testing material.

This book did not at all prepare me for the West E. The test was more situational based and this book only prepares you for definitions and basics.
