The Halo bassinet is beautiful, airy & roomy. But baby hates it that way! I then realized it wasn’t warm and cozy enough for him to enjoy sleeping in. He’d go from a warm embrace after eating, to a vast cold bassinet. Thankfully I stumbled upon this insert, which provided not only additional yet safe padding; but also a snuggled feeling so that he may stay soundly asleep once one of us puts him down. Installation was a breeze and didn’t even take a minute. It made a huge impact on our ability to sleep, for both baby and the parents

Have only used this for 1 night so far and already worth it. Our little preemie was actually able to sleep in her bassinet from one feeding to the next without us having to get up every 10 mins! She seems so much more comfortable and we finally got some rest after 2 weeks of struggling to find a solution.

This is a great product! It cradles my baby and I can sleep with ease knowing there is no hazard involved with putting her down in this. I also like that it has mesh siding so I can peek in at night and see her without having to get up and look in. The halo brand is solid so you don’t have that option. I have a very challenging baby so far (6weeks) colic, reflux, latching issues. So once we get everything figured out I have high hopes this will work great! I will say I wish there was more support to cradle her a bit more snugly to ensure good sleep but nothing a good swaddle can’t fix.

Our newborn didn’t love his halo bassinest but once we got the insert he slept much better in it! It makes the space smaller and cozier for him. It’s easy to clean and the padding is soft. I’ve already recommended to a friend!

Honestly, we didn’t like having to buy another product to install inside our bassinet, which we consider was already a big ticket purchase. However, I think it all depends on how your baby adapted to the HALO bassinet. Our little boy actually didn’t like sleeping in it, so he ended up cosleeping with us in the bed a few times. I KNOW, that’s bad. Anyhow, this insert from mysnnuggly was definitely a lifesaver for us since our baby boy now sleeps much better, and finally not in our bed or on top of me.I wish it was a big longer, we measured it about 20in, so we would use it for longer, but I think it’s measurements were well thought to give the baby that cuddling sensation. We especially like the bumpers it has in the sides. It looks very comfy and seems to really hold him in place. As is, it really snuggles the baby and we feel very safe having our baby sleeping in it.Well, these are my two cents. Hope it helps, but for us it was a life changer. Had we known this insert before, we would’ve bought it from the beginning. WE FINALLY SLEEP NOW.

I love the pad to keep her from rolling over which was our fear. I don’t like that you can’t see as much with that window if her head is turned you can’t see like in the normal halo bassinet

After trying multiple options to get our newborn to sleep on his back in the bassinet, we finally decided to spend the money and buy the MySnuggly insert. Wow, was that the right choice! Even on the first night, he was able to finally stay asleep on his back for more than 15 minutes - which is about the most we had gotten him to do before then. The insert seems safe, with the mesh around the sides, but we definitely won't be using it when he can roll over. Even so, for the time being, this has been a life saver. He has gradually gotten more comfortable sleeping on his back elsewhere, but he still sleeps best in the insert.My only complaint is that it's a little tough to get the plastic clips into place around the edges of the bassinet, but I'd rather have a tight fit than having them fall off. There's a little bit of adjustment so you can try to keep it from laying directly on the bassinet mattress, but the weight of the baby will eventually pull it down anyway. So far, that hasn't been a problem for us.If there's one regret with using this insert, it's that we wish we would have done it sooner!
