I bought this for my husband because he had mentioned he wanted something relaxing to look at on his desk at work. The reviews seems a little mixed, but it seemed to have the best reviews for the price, so I went ahead and ordered it. We ALL love it! I don't want him to take it to work because we just love having it in our family room. The landscapes are so pretty, and it's addicting to just sit and watch the sand fall and the little bubbles rise. The blue, black, and white colors combine beautifully and peacefully. It seems to be a great quality product that I know he will enjoy for years to come.

I put this on my desk and now I no longer work. I just stare at this aimlessly all day. I don't even flip it that often. I just stare at the settled landscape. And when I get bored after a few hours, I flip it to mix things up. The days still crawl by painfully slow but at least I'm not annoyed by pesky job stuff.

The product itself was pretty nice; the packaging, however, was horrible. As it was a gift, I wanted to check it out to make sure it wasn't broken before wrapping it. Couldn't see the item properly, as it was in a box with an oval hole in the front (almost like a tissue box). The oval hole, which was across the sand viewing screen, was covered solidly with clear packing tape to prevent breakage. While trying to untape it, the plastic protective coating on the gift tore to shreds, as the tape was securely stuck to it. Once it was finally free from the box (which tore, as well) and I checked it out, I had to repackage it in something else, as the original container was now a mess. Even though usage is fairly self explanatory, there was no paper included on care and handling of product, which made it seem cheap. Till all was said and done, having no professional packaging, no instructions for care, and the fact that I had to put it in a suitable container, it just looked like something I had for years and regifted because I didn't want it anymore.

Soo disappointed. Inside of envelope was covered in sand so I didn't even take it out.Will send it back!

Came broken in a totally intact package and did not include the base as shown in pic. Just a flag piece of broken plastic. It could be very pretty if it comes intact and as shown, I will be sending mine back so may never know.

I wanted this for a birthday gift but it doesn't work! Junk.

Junk don't buy this crap won't stand up and falls over, returned this crap...

It is super and although there are a few small bubbles in it the sand moves well and looks good. Exactly as pictured.

The holder doesn't really fit the product. Balance is flimsy to say the least and if you got kids or a pet running around it won't take much to knock it over (and probably shatter). Each time you want to turn it over, it requires you to take it out of the 2 holders, reverse it and put it back in to the holders (and hope it doesn't fall over). An attached flip over holder would have been far more convenient. The landscapes however are quite nice and the motion is slow enough to have a calming effect. Although I let it set for a couple of hours, I also notice the water remains muddy and not clear like on the product advertisement. Well, it's a gadget... get it if you must, but if would buy such a sand picture again I'd check if there aren't any on the market with a attached swing mechanism.

The shapes this creates, and the colours in it, as well as the craftsmanship, all surpass other sand pictures I own.I agree with other reviewers that it would be better with a different stand, but that in itself makes it feel more like a picture when it's not in use.

Cool item really pleased makes amazing sand pictures, I purchased the blue colour which looks like snow topped mountains or rough sea waves. Arrived within timescale and in one piece too which I was a bit concerned about!

Too many air bubbles for it to work

Second one bought different company last time, bought for my grandson. This time glass scratched and not enough liquid to make the sand move properly. Don't know what to do now as grandson really wants one
