I might have just gotten a bad batch but I gave this to my 7 yr old 3 lb chihuahua out of precaution after my new husky puppy tested positive for giardia. She had 2 1/2 doses over 2 days and never took another bite of food for 4 full days. She was lethargic and not even getting up. I took her to the vet and her organs were basically shutting down. They suggested euthanasia. A couple days later she bounced back and started eating and drinking again. She is about 80% better but has a head wobble now though. I can’t say for certain this is what caused it or if it was something else but I figured I would come share my experience just incase. Seems suspicious that she was fine until I gave her it. I’d pass on this if you have a dog under 5 lbs. go to the vet instead and have them suggest a better option. I’m so glad I waited to see if she improved.
