I'm giving this 5 stars because it was the best way to get our bedridden mother from her home to ours. Took 3 of us & we could have used a 4th person but we did it so I'm grateful! Although I'm going to say it would not hold 500lbs. Our loved one isn't even half that size and she fit from edge to edge. I machine washed it after use & it came out great. I would suggest this product if you can't use a regular stretcher/gurney. It arrived quickly. Thank you for that!

Used this to carry a gun shot victim from the 5th floor of an apartment building. Built and designed well.

I've mostly used it for training or demos at my kids' school. It's durable and can definitely get any sized person from point A to point B. It's super light and folds up easily. Not sure I would use it in real world scenarios unless it's an emergency.

Works great. Tested on a 325 lb D1 defensive lineman. No complaints.

I used this once with a person and once with a semi tire. I do not think it would be ideal for regular use or harsh conditions, BUT YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR -AND IT WILL WORK FOR AN EMERGENCY! It is very compressible and light. Inam happy with it.

We bought two of these, the first time we used it one of the handles tore at the seam making it useless. We were carrying a practice victim indoors, the person was about 100 pounds, and the litter made it about 8 feet before tearing. We have contacted the company about a replacement and are awaiting a response. We haven't tried the second one yet. The concept is good, it fits nicely in a backback but the quality is a problem. UPDATE --The company replaced the torn litter and the new one has worked quite well. It has survived two CERT training exercises, carrying about a doz adults with good results. Nice and lightweight, would recommend for CERT programs.

New to working at an Halloween amusement as part of the emergency medical staff, I was not liking the stretchers provided, So I ordered this for my kit. (I have something similar for SCUBA diving.) The second night of having this, we used it to haul a 300 lb+ sick person from the wooded park. The stretcher's 8 handles saved us all as we had to travers up a wooded hill to a clearing, It held up like a champ and many of the staff were impressed. The park ordered a few to have in the first aid station and elsewhere.

I love having this in my vehicle to know I'm prepared. The item is very durable and the weight limit is great. It's also compact for storage. I have a 150lbs senior great dane and that's mainly why I got it but it will work for a human too if ever needed.
