Easy to install if you have the right tools
Hardest part of the install is to get the grips on and off. If you have a 2019 or older, you have to use the template on the back of the cover for the button. Factory looking button. Great product

Work great on 2012 & 2013 Polaris Sportsman 500HO
Installed two sets of these over the weekend on my 2012 and my dad's 2013 SPortsman 500. Easy installation with good instructions. The first set took me about two hours... The hardest part was cutting the pre-marked knockout out of the headlight cover. I did it with just a sharp utility knife and a bit of patience. Everything is plug-and-play. I did add a bit of wiring loom to cover and clean up things a bit under the cover. I used air to get the grips off and a bit of rubbing alcohol to slide them back on. The alcohol evaporates and I was riding an hour later. Looking forward to warm hands this fall/winter!!

Polaris heated grip kit
These were well made and fit perfect. All parts needed were included. The instructions could use some help as they were almost unreadable. All in all a good product.

Not just for an atv ( zero turn lawn mower)
Works great for a zero turn lawn mower to but of course I had to modify it . I had to extend the wiring and cut a hole for the switch. I installed it on a scag cheetah (2) I suspect it would work on almost any zero turn mower or any machine with handle bars with some modifications of courseThe Heating pads heats up to about 115 degrees Fahrenheit and thats with the factory scag grips over the top of them. Perfect for late season fall cleanups or late season mowing up here in Minnesota. Looking forward to using them

Awesome Hand Grip Warmers!!!
First off, shipping was fast! Thanks, Amazon/Seller.I installed these on my 2015 Polaris Sportsman 570 earlier today. It took me about 40 minutes. I was being really careful, and taking my time so I didn't screw anything up. You have to remove the speedometer assy (3 phillips screws), and using a razor (box cutter works great), flip the speedometer assembly over and look for the 4 pre-cut outs Polaris put there for future switches. Then flip it back over so you are looking at the speedometer - I picked a spot to the left of the speedometer, because if you want to switch the hand warmers on and you are driving, it only makes sense to have it on the LEFT side so you can keep your right hand on the throttle. Flip it back over - be careful and take your time with the razor, #1 for safety and #2 so you don't cut the hole too big! Cut along the lines of the pre-stamped cutout from Polaris. Better to start out small and then try to fit the switch, then shave some plastic off until you get to the right size. DO THIS FROM THE BACK SIDE, do you try it from the front, you could scratch your speedo assy and it will look like crap. Sorry, I am kinda OCD when it comes to stuff like this. lol. Then, take off the access panel inside the front storage that is held on with 4 torx screws, this will reveal wiring from the factory that Polaris put in there exactly for this kind of thing, that you tap into. All wires, zip ties, everything is included in the kit.Taking the stock grips off was fun - you have to plug the hole on ONE of the grips (I used a bolt), and then use compressed air on the opposite side. POP! It will fly off and then you are in business.I used some cut up pieces of duct tape to hold the heating pads on, because they are fairly rigid and you are expected to wrap them around the metal handlebar. Naturally, they do not want to do this. The adhesive on the backside of the heating pad is good, but not great. So expect to have tape handy. To get the grips back over the heating elements on the handlebar, was extremely difficult!! I used a solution of dish soap and hot water. Just put a LITTLE on the bar/heating element, and the grip will slide right on.Buttoned everything back up, zip tied the wires to the handlebars, and back into the headlight assy, and started the 4-wheeler. HOLY CRAP these babies get HOT!!! Awesome hand grip warmers. I had them on high, and in about 2 minutes they were toasty warm, put them on low, still very warm. like I said, awesome. All in all, this is a quality Polaris OEM kit. The heating elements are sturdy, and you can tell they are well made, as well as the wiring harness and the switch. I could easily see these lasting the life of the ATV. Worth every penny, IMHO

Great with some 2018 570 differences
Easy install with a few differences on 2018's or SP's. On my 2018 570,it now has the all digital dash like the 2017 SP had. So now the switches get installed vertically ( 2 on the left and 2 on the right on the display). The writing on the switch is made for a horizontal install like the older analog gauge. There are two orange/white switched power leads under the front cover for power. But on the my 2018, they were female so i had to crimp on a male connector on the wiring that came with this kit.Overall the install took only 30 minutes. On low, the grips feel warm like they were sitting outside on a summer day. On high, they really heat up nicely.I'd recommend some new grips to go with the install though. The stock Polaris grips are a soft rubber compound, Before the heated stickers were install, they were fine in contact with the metal bars directly. I blew them off with a air compressor and reinstalled them with a tiny tiny bit of dish soap. When they are cold, the rubber is hard and they don't move a bit.. But when I turn on the heat, the grips get really soft and loosen up to the point where they twist on the bars. I might try safety wiring the grips to hold better if not get new ones .

OEM product Fit and Finish are what they should be
It is OEM and the Polaris instructions make it a snap to install it and wire it in so that it works correctly and looks good on the Quad. Not a clean way to route the wires so they are hidden and look factory. If not for that would be 5 stars in all categories. You have to take a bunch of stuff apart to mount the switch and route the wires. You are gonna have to cut out the knock out plate to mount the switch where you want it. Use a sharp knife to score it out so that it looks good when you snap in the switch on the cowl. Pro Tip use compressed air to remove the OEM grips. Works like a charm.
