Candle Wick Trimmer, Stainless Steel, with Gift Box

Wish I had known about this sooner! I just learned how you are supposed to trim wicks so I was being cheap and used finger nail clippers. That was a pain so I was very glad when I received these. Thick heavy high quality. I'm pretty sure these will last me forever. Works great and I love how there is a little ledge where the old wick falls when you cut it so it doesn't fall onto the fax. Perfect and a really great gift for anyone that burns candles.

Been needing one of these for years. Kept asking for Christmas, birthday, etc. I finally bought it for myself. Very durable. Does the job.

Product is a little hard to use. They are very stiff to open and close. The angle also does not lend itself to the taller candle holders on the market (like every tall candle from Yankee candle). While they do work, the wick sometimes sticks to the scissors instead of falling into the catch plate. Adding extra work to dislodge the use wick. Not getting a good angle (straight into the candle) makes it not as quick in cutting as it could. Add to that, those larger candles that have three wicks, when they get load, getting an angle to get the wicks that are directly in the middle is not easy and it cuts at a weird angle.

It is angled so for jar candles, it becomes a little less usable.

I've been in desperate need of a wick trimmer for a while and finally decided to get a pair. I love that these not only have a thick bottom so that it measures out the right wick length for you, but it's plenty sharp enough to cut through my Woodwick candles.

It does not work on my WoodWick brand candles. It is too thick and has a slant to it that their trimmers do not. It was a waste of money for me sadly.

This a great little tool to have if you are a candle lover. Makes it so easy to trim up the wick. Well made too.
