TAKES TIME, worth it
I am new to the MTB world and I thought it was extremely important to protect my brand new bike.Biggest tip is make sure you have a heat gun(or hairdryer) when applying. It really helps in the corners and with getting the edges to stay adhered. If you notice imperfections or lots of bubbles during installation simply just peel it off, respray and start over. This is not as easy as installing prefabbed stuff and it will take you a few hours but its not that bad! grab a beer or 5 and enjoy working on your own stuff.MUST BUY, 3m 2228 mastic tape, put it on your chain stay and bottom bracket. Makes your ride much quieter and saves the frame from any brutal hits.Thank you Lamin-x for a great product, hope to try any other products you may have

Works but I totally recommend buying a precut wrap if available for your bike model.
Very time consuming to cut the template for my bike. Would recommend buying a precut template if available for your bike model. Other than that, it applies well. Dunno how it will wear.

Comes with essential tools and easy to cut and fit.
Really impressed with the quality, easy installation if you read the instructions and maybe watch a couple of YouTube vids before install. Comes with a exacto blade, small water bottle and squeegee to help with install. I recommend a large ruler to help with straight cutting the film fit along with a tape measure. You first measure your frame and cut a piece to fit. Make sure you trim the corners with scissors and make them rounded so they don't catch and pull in the future. Then clean the frame where you are going to apply the film. Remove the film backing, spray soapy water on the film adhesive side and also a little on the frame. Then apply and center. Then use the squeegee to smooth out and remove any water bubbles. Works well on rounded edges as well, a good idea to have a hair dryer or heat gun to help with that.

Works great
Easy to install once you get the hang of it. Protects frame areas where a cable may rub or where you have a bag strapped on. Added some under down tub where dirt and debris hits from the front wheel. Will have to wait and see how long it lasts. Nice that it doesn’t hurt appearance as you can barely see it.

Fantastic value, super easy to install
This is a great product. It's pricing is competitive with all other frame protection kits, and this one covers way more ground. All you need is water, the install is super easy, and once everything is down, the corners don't peel up. I work in the bike industry and install Lizard Skins frame protection kits almost everyday and it's a constant battle to keep corners down and bubbles out. On top of that they only cover a small portion of the frame. Would highly recommend this product to anybody looking to actually protect their frame.

Reasonable Success
I had good success applying to one bicycle, not so much on the second. The material is relatively thick and seems to protect well. I made the mistake of applying too much water to apply and then had trouble getting a smooth finish. It is also a little tricky to cut appropriate slits for wrapping around corners, but with a little patience it worked out. Over all I think this is a solid product. Will buy again and hopefully my application skill is better.

It's a pain to put on
It's a total pain to install correctly. I don't think it's worth the trouble for the cost.

Peace of mind.
Bought a carbon fiber frame mountain bike. Sounded good, until the first ride. Hearing loose rocks ping off of the downtube and even laying the bike down caused anxiety about chipping the clear coat. The Lamin-X goes on easy and provides a little piece of mind over minor chips, scuffs and bangs from normal riding. Perfect. The glossy is darn near invisible on the bike. Unless you are looking really close, it's hard to identify where the Lamin-X was applied.
