This is an excellent 'hiding place' our rabbit is mid sized (weights a bit over 5 pounds) He's an older bunny and a wee bit chubby but the hut is the perfect size. It's the best of 3 huts we've had for our pet. Like another reviewer said, he loves to go in main 'doorway' and then hop out of the circular 'window. It is perfect, and it doesn't tip over like his previous (homemade) hut did. Would buy again!!

I have three of these houses, 1 guinea pig sized one for my Syrian and 2 hamster sized ones for my Robos. They are a little expensive, but exactly what I needed.I have food and water dishes for my hamsters, and a reoccurring issue was the dishes having bedding kicked in them or being tipped over while the hamsters were digging no matter where I placed them in the cages. Along with providing a place to hide and sleep, these flat-roofed houses with a hole in the top create a second level where I can place the food and water dishes away from the bedding.Should last a good while despite getting slightly wet from splashed water and the occasional gnawing + peeing. Thankfully my hamsters aren't chewing these enough to raise concerns about the unknown wood materials or nails and glue... yet.

Got the largest size for my small rabbit and it works nicely - a little plain for the money, but has held up well. He has tipped it over a couple of times jumping on top, but usually it holds. The "window" is so big he can jump through it, which I am not fond of - I don't think it's as cozy as the previous house I had.

I have to boars and these houses are perfect. The homes survived the bonding process and the multiple entrances were critical to relationship success with the little guys. Quality was top notch, and floor space utilized is minimal. Very smartly designed. Would highly recommend!

It took a while for my bunny to warm up to this little house, but eventually he came to enjoy sleeping in it. He doesn't seem to chew it very much, although he loves my baseboards. If you've got a picky chewer, I wouldn't expect miracles. Overall, I like it enough because he seems to be very comfortable using it as a nap/rest spot, and it's small enough that my big fat cats can't get inside and bully him out of his safe spot.

My fiance had this house for his rabbit. I specifically hunted this house down for my 2 year old rabbit. She had been living in a build a bear box, until I finally upgraded her house to this house. I love the quality of the house, the nails are small and not a danger for my rabbit, the wood is natural and safe for her to chew on, and she can enter the house through the window or door. I never thought I could get her to give up the Build-A-Bear Box, but it was trashed 3 days after she received this. I put a blanket in it and on top of it. she loves to sleep on the top of it. She frequently marks it with her chin to say "she loves it"! This is one of the best purchases for rabbits!!!!

Other reviews are right! This is crap - it is CHEAP particle board, glue and tiny nail gun nails (made in China) - now, the little nails don't bother me because most of the small animal wood hide outs have little nails and it is a small risk, but one side was coming off where the nail went clear through the board, there is glue gooping out of the top, and even the wood was falling a part a bit. I'm not putting it in their cage like I wanted, I'm going to leave it outside their play room so they have something to hop on and hide in even though I should probably ship it back. I bought this for Chinchillas, I wanted to put their Kaytee house on top to make a little condo for them (which it does fit and is quite large) but due to the poor quality of the product, I refuse to leave it in their cage.BUY the Kaytee Small Animal Hideaway Instead if you want quality - solid wood - still has small nails, but overall quality is much better.

Okay, I personally understand why many people are complaining about this product however I really enjoy it! I bought the Large one (the one seen on the bottom of the photo) yes it is true only one comes with it which may be misleading to some people but my rabbits love it. I own two Holland Lop Rabbits, one is full grown and she perfectly fits inside, so if you have a large rabbit breed it may not fit. The product came unbroken, undamaged, and overall i am happy with the product.

My guinea pigs absolutely love it. Mind you it is wood so washing it is a bit of an issue.

When the product arrived, I was a bit disappointed. I could see drips of glue down a couple of the sides. Their site said it was put together with a non toxic/ hazardous adhesive so I tried not to be too worried. I also noticed I couldn't find what kind of wood was used, which is a tad annoying. Plywood can be anything. Though, once my guinea pig got used to her new hideout she loved it. She absolutely loves the little window she can sneak treats through. In conclusion, overall I'm happy with the purchase. The construction is a bit shoddy but my guinea pig loves it.

The little house seems roomy until the chinchilla walks in. Most chinchillas are almost the same size—between a pound and a pound and a half. My chinchilla loves it and takes her favorite snacks inside for private munching, but it’s not big enough for her to stretch out, which means she won’t sleep in there. She usually just hangs out on top of the hut—she lives in a Ferret Nation cage and there’s enough room on the half-shelf. Construction seems quite sturdy, and she hasn’t yet been interested in chewing it. It’s just been a couple of weeks, though. I’m hoping it will last a long time.

Purchased the extra large as it looked like the perfect fit for my rabbit's home. Object that arrived was not as pictured in the image, orientation of the house and location of the window was completely different, meaning it did not fit the setup I bought it for. Also had a number of rough edges and the roof was peeling up from the walls in one corner causing there to be exposed finishing nails.

Okay where do I start? I got this for guinea pig... when it showed up.. it was terrible quality, and had a nail sticking out and broke. Wouldn't reccomend at all !Definally not worth the money
