Is this big enough for adult dachsund?

We have a mini dachshund that it fits, but we bought it for our full size adult dachshund and she did not fit in it, it was way too small for her. She weighs 22 pounds.

Is there a way to secure with the car's seatbelt? Im afraid elastic strap around seatback would snap in a collision?

Dear customer, Thank you for your question. This Dog Car Booster Seat contains 2 long straps(Oxford cloth, not elastic) for linking the dog booster seat and the car headrest. This method of connection is durable enough to fasten the dog booster seat to ensure the safety of your dog. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any problems, and we are always ready to help you. Sincerely, Henkelion Customer Service

Does this need to be disassembled to collapse?

Just unzip and it folds into flat piece.

this says it secures with the seat belt. How does that work? and does it do a good job?
