Jansport Trinity Backpack

This is a great bag fits a lot of stuff. I go to University and well i have my lap top and i also have to carry a lot of big books and somtimes even though the bag is packed it feels like nothing is on my back. and the negative side there is only one thing they say it supposed to fit a size 15 lap top normally when you hear size 15 you think 15.6 but thats not the case the actual size laptop to fit is 15.4 which is just point 2 inches that should not be a problem if the strap to hold down the laptop was not the exact size so i don't use mine but its not really a problem. This bag is overal great, great against water and it feels comfy on the back awesome bag

I bought this to also function as carry-on for airplane trips, and I expect it to be fit-for-purpose. The 1,850-cu-in size is good, especially because this has one main compartment. The compartment can take a laptop and 3 phone-directories and 2 pocketbooks, so it has the volume to accomodate a jacket and change-of-clothes. I tested the straps with a 30-pound load -- passed the test of comfort and stability (straps held the bag securely to one's back). The material feels thinner than another backpack I have. I'm not deducting points because the other backpack (thicker material) ripped in 3 places after only 2 years. I expect Jansport engineering/quality-control to result in better years-service with this Trinity backback.

I have owned this backpack for more than four months and it holds my 15inch laptop, 3 inch binder and plenty of small (reader's digest sized) books with room available for more supplies. The color (I purchased the pink/white) is exactly how it appears in the picture. I estimate the pack will last through all four years of college.

I like this bag a lot. Its lightweight, sturdy. It has stood by for some years now. The color is still as vibrant. All in all, good purchase. Would buy again.

I'm pretty happy with my purchase. The only down side is that there's no side pockets for my water bottle...

i love this bag! not only does it look cool with it's bright colors, but it is durable and has many pockets to help keep your things organized. i would not want any other backpack!

When my children first started school, I always seemed to be buying bags until I stumbled upon these Jansport Trinity bags. My eldest daughter got hers at 13 and still has it now. (She's 30) They come with a lifetime guarantee, and hers, after school and university, has been back to the manufacturer once for a new side pocket zip. My two sons got theirs when they started Senior School and they have been hammered at school and university, not to mention trips abroad. Both boys still use these bags every day for work. I am 60. I have one of these bags which I use for weekend trips, days out, country walks and as a flight bag on airline trips. It easily holds all you need for an overnight or weekend stay. It has straps to attach coats and cardigans, clips to hold keys safe inside pockets and the newer models have a light padding to protect your laptop. There is a handy top pocket to save fumbling for purse or passport. The boys use that for MP3 players and mobile phones too. There used to be more colours available. Mine is pink and grey, my daughter's is red and grey, the boys have blue/grey and black/grey. All in all, an excellent all round bag and well worth the money.

I recently stumbled across this and felt compelled to write a review. I have the older version of this backpack and it is holding up great. I've been using the backpack since I was in the 5th grade, believe it or not. I've recently graduated from college and the pack is still with me. I think that alone is a testament to the quality of the backpack. I've also gone on numerous camping trips in college and taken the pack with me. All the zippers still work, and the bottom has not given out yet( the material is getting thinner but since it is weaved I imagine that it will still hold for quite a while). All in all a great pack that I would highly recommend. When I purchased mine back in the day the manufacturer warrantied the pack for a lifetime, I don't know if that is still the case so I can't necessarily speak to the quality of the newer models however I imagine they wouldn't have changed the design/warranty policy.
