Acdelco at a great price
Fixed the dreaded broken temp door in the rear in my 04 Tahoe. If you’re mechanically inclined it should take less than an hour but be careful removing the rear heater core. Works like a champ and changes like it’s supposed to

There are spring clips holding this thing in and a couple of them are pretty hard to get to
This worked to repair my rear AC. GM uses a actuator motor on a flap door which has a piece of plastic sticking out of it. For whatever reason, the plastic rod that goes into the actuator breaks off of the flap door and when you turn the controls, nothing's connected so your temperature doesn't chance since the flap door isn't doing anything. I'd say its a design defect or a defect in materials in the OEM part. So, now I have a new OEM part which will eventually fail (I'm fairly certain) but in the meantime, I have rear AC back again. Its not that hard to replace, but you have to remove all the plastic trim on the inside of the rear compartment on the passenger side. There are spring clips holding this thing in and a couple of them are pretty hard to get to, so you wind up working blind just trying to pry them off. Its a do-able job for the home gamer.

Perfect fit
Glad that this product is still available. Used on a 2005 Yukon Denali. Was an exact replacement. The design flaw of of a plastic piston moving the flap that directs air to either be heated or cold for the rear of the vehicle still exists, but nothing will change that. The install is a little hard for replacing the clips that hold it in place - the ones at the back that are along the back outer fender are nearly impossible to reach - I ended up being satisfied with 5 of the 6 main clips being placed. One screw at the very bottom is also in a tight place.I'm by no means a mechanic, but with a few online videos, was able to do this fix, and for a $200 part and a $50 actuator motor, di a repair that at the dealer service would have been over $1000 for sure.It shipped quickly and was packed well. Would buy again, hopefully I don't need to!

Worked Great!
Exactly what I needed to replace the broken rear blend door on my 2005 Yukon Denali. Repair job was fairly simple after watching a handful of videos online. Dealer quoted me $1400 for the job. Saved $1300 doing it myself, thanks to this part being available.
