Item itself looks nice. Installation was a little hard, but overall, it's good.

This product is easy to install for two people. If only one person is installing be sure to have all materials ready and lined up especially if you are using a ladder. I installed once with another person and once by myself and my arms were hurting after going at it alone.

I bought it just for the replacement glass. It's a very neutral design which I love. Just frosted glass without etchings. It fit perfect.What was hilarious is that the business is close by and I received a box for the thing labeled with a business address I could hop in my car and visit without the aid of gmaps or anything. Totally a local supplier, which was unexpected and amusing. Who says you can't support a local business by shopping Amazon.😁.

I only needed the glass. My grandson broke the last glass with a pillow. Because the last glass was not tempered it broke in shards. He was very lucky the shards did not cut him. I would like to know if this new glass is tempered. Don't let your kids throw pillows.

I purchased this fixture to replace an existing light fixture that has a pull chain and this type of square shade. Let me say that the wiring, and assembly of the electrical fixture was easy. I gave it one star for ease of install however, because of the really bad box cover and screws for attachment they provided. The wiring took me all of 3 to 5 minutes, then I got to the part where you need to attach the fixture to the box. This was a mess. These fixture usually come with the type of box cover that you screw in the mounting screws part way first into the box, then you push the fixture up and there are holes in the box cover larger than the screws for the heads of the screws to go into. You would then turn the box cover and fixture so the screws are in a cut out that is smaller than the head. This make the fixture stay in place and then it is usually a quick tightening of the screws to finish the attachment. Easy as pie. Not this fixture. there are just holes for mounting. You have two options, either try to put the screws in to the holes and fumble around trying to line them up with the mounting holes in the box, or put the screws in upside down, tighten then with the extra nuts provided, and then use the decorative white nuts to hold them at the end. I tried both methods, neither way was easy and it took me 30 minutes to mount the fixture, which normally would have taken a minute with the proper box cover. I would have used the box cover from my old fixture, but it would not fit with the electrical pieces from this new fixture. What might have also helped is just longer screws to help with lining up, and an extra set of regular none decorative nuts. The shade covers the box cover anyway, there is no need to decorative nuts.

Easy to install pull chain light fixture.

I got tired of buying ceiling fans that only last for a few years, so I replaced mine with this light fixture which holds two bright led bulbs, pull string is a great idea. I use a window fan which I find better for direct airflow.

This is a great looking light for a cheap price. I needed a ceiling light controlled by a pull chain for my laundry room because for some reason it is on the same switch as my bathroom and I didn't want that light staying on anytime someone is in the bathroom. This light was very inexpensive, but looks way better than the options at the big box stores near me (just a spherical globe with a chain).I do home renovations regularly and while the installation was not too difficult, but also not nearly as easy as some other fixtures I have installed. It does come with all the hardware you need to install it, but I took away a star because the mounting bracket installation could be a bit easier. For the price though I have no complaints.

Excellent product for the purpose.

For some reason, my sister's house was wired with a non-switched electrical box in her living room ceiling. Pulling the wire for a new switch would be problematic, and "smart" bulbs are expensive, so I installed this, which is - as far as I'm aware - the only 2-light fixture with a pull chain ever made. It was easy to install and looks great. The packaging was a thin piece of bubble wrap and a 1/4" piece of polystyrene. I'm surprised the glass arrived intact, but since it did, I have no complaints.

it is exactly what i needed

This was the light I've been looking for! It takes 'regular' light bulbs and has the pull chain, which is exactly what I wanted. Pull chain lights are hard to find and this one works perfectly.
