I bought this item new but from the first usage the touch screen was not response and I can't control the length of the combs easily. At the second usage after 5 minutes only the touch screen stopped and the length became fixed at 3 mm only so I tired from it and requested to return it. There is a button mode that button is very bad because I must put the setting manually, The settings are A, B, C and D and when I choose for example C mode -for long comb- and I put wrong comb for example the short comp the screen display 23 mm as this mode suppose and the machine does not detect the wrong comb but in the Philips HC9490 the machine detect the appropriate length according to the comb automatically not manually such as this machine and the length of the comb displayed on the screen correct automatically. The usage of this machine is more difficult than the same models of other brands.
